Subject: Limitations on TL listing hour by country
- 1
To allow for more people to train players of their own country, it would be good if there was a small window where players could not be listed based on the country of origin.
This limitation would mean players cannot be listed between midnight-6am of their home countries local time.
Given it is such a small window, it should not affect the ability of anyone to sell their player, but does allow the home nation to actually bid on players from their home country, and therefore keep home grown sides or train for the NT if they wish

I don't see what this could help you...
You already have day time when the most users of sokker are sleeping...
If Australian people want to sell their players at night, local time, they themselves don't want to participate in the NT project...
So it's more a problem of unwillingness of the locals.
But maybe give users the possibility to set a timer in a 12h window when they place a player online.
So say...it's around noon in Australia...that is around midnight in Europe!
So to make it easier...there;s a difference of +- 12h for your local time and European time.
If you have a 12h window, you can place a player for sale at 9PM, but ad up to 12h to the deadline so the deadline is 9PM European time, when you sell the player, provided you want lots of people to be able to bid for the player.
On the other side, you can avoid ''rush hour'' in sokker by not adding hours to the deadline. It's far more easy to sell players when mostly only locals are online for you, as it is for European managers.

Actually the issue is not Australians selling, it's international people selling.
Almost all managers sell in the 1600-2200 window which equates to midnight-6am or 1am-7am depending on the time of the year. This goes for all good players in sokker, not just those from Australia, but as soon as an Australian player is lost to any other country, they too end up selling in this time zone.
What this idea would do is allow local people to that players country a chance of buying the player, as opposed to the player selling in the middle of the night when everyone is sleeping.
It doesn't fix the far bigger issue of everyone selling players in a tiny time frame, but it does allow people access to players they can train for their NT - which should be a priority to keep a strong NT scene (which really is the end game for sokker for many managers)

You also need to remember, this is not something that just helps one or two countries, this helps all countries.
It means that gun NT player from any nation is open to all those from their own country, which is the biggest buying market for that player in most instances.

No, you're wrong in this issue...
European and African countries don't gain at all in this matter, since they are all in the approx. same time window. And this covers roughly 80 / 85% of all sokker users.
I think the best solution to cover the NT players issue, is that there should be a max amount of foreign players to a club and eventually also a minimum amount of home grown players...or something similar.

I think that this 1600-2200 window exists by the same players, It is not something imposed, the behavior of the users was what created this window. Define a time of sale, it depends more on the agreement that both users can reach. Would this not limit the tool of the pass market a bit?
What I think would be necessary is to improve the tool to find players, currently this is quite archaic and this greatly limits the search for players in which we are interested. An example, the same module exists to search for players for sale, adding filters such as country, age, value, performance in playing positions but without the need to be for sale.

That would be ok when all countries would have the same amount of managers playing ....as it is not the same then that would put some in disadvantage and new managers would need to invest much more effort to catch up with old managers...don't think that will ever happen.,..
I can understand Achmid problem and I support his idea...that would not change much for most managers nad players as they are in the same time zone, or similar.,.

The introduction of ''free agents'' would be nice!
New generated youth players without a club, coming on the TL. The money for buying them would leave the game instantly.
That can counter the ''player amount'' a bit for smaller countries too and maybe give the NT's a boost in quality

Interresting, but not realistic. Managers get way too few talented players to create a strong team with mostly players from own country in smaller countries, the Netherlands is also a small country in this case. And also, some countries will have way more options to buy players as small countries.
Or ... all managers can get some foreign players in junior school from all over the world once in a while (an x% change). That way more players from small countries will enter the game. In rl football this is also the case. FC Utrecht has one from Indonesia (maybe some more but I don't know U19 and younger that well) in the past also Aussies but they where older and played in second team. (I don't mean double nationalities, but real foreign players).
And if managers don't want to get foreign juniors, it could be a 'scout' option that can be turned on and off. Or get a message once in a while a scout found a foreign player, and click 'accept' or 'reject'.
(make sure the smallest countries get an x% more change to get new players in the game as the largest Sokker countries)

Could also be a good option. Money need to leave the game, the economy in this game is a big flaw. Money enters the game, but almost nothing leaves the game, except when a rich team quits playing,
offtopic: I already suggested stadium extensions, like a sound system, better lightning, food stands, supporters home, etc and all can be upgraded 5 levels or so. Ofcourse a supporters home is very expensive, a sound system not so much. This could be bought when supportersmood is very low, to make supporters happy again. But the money used for stadium extensions is gone.
