Subject: [change] Unlock max number of players per position
Ah ok! NowI understand... I had the impression you were talking about orders.
Too much stuff to read here... :)

You are correct, but giving freedom in this aspect of the game will give a greater tactical range.
I have been thinking about it. Being able to make ridiculous tactics won't make this a better game. It won't make any sense anymore.
6 DEF's could somehow make some sense, but 0 is absolutely rubbish. Same for ATT 5 could be usefull, 3 in the box and 2 wingers, but more would make no sense anymore. And to combine this to tactics like 6-0-4 or 5-0-5 is just crazy. Yes it is a game, not rl football, but to go completely berserk is no football anymore.
The limits as we have right now is a perfect balance and lots of tactics can be made with this. Maybe 4 ATT instead of 3, as this can also be made into a realistic tactic, but that's it if you ask me.

Sokker at this moment orders only have 2 functions.
1. Define if you prioritize clearing, shooting or dribbling/passing actions.
2. Limit of players to receive training (2gk, 10 def, 10 mid and 6 fw).
Think about this, if you assign a mid order to a defender with little MP and little PAS, he "may" make mistakes more often, because he is assigning an order that does not favor him.
If you have a defense with a good level in TEC and PAS, by assigning him the MID order, he will be able to take advantage of the good level that he has in his secondary abilities.
Now a WING midfielder or attacking midfielder with the FW order, will be able to choose to shoot balls more frequently, at this time the midfielders can reach the rival box and it doesn't matter if they have a clean shot, they will try to give a pass.
A striker with the MID order (in theory) could pivot and assist a midfielder more often.
Football is versatile, every year it evolves more and more...
1. From Pep Guardiola with his formation 370 in the final vs SANTOS,
2. A small team that is sometimes reinforced with 6-7 defenders
3. Offensive systems with 10-20 minutes left by a big team that is losing and bets on sending crosses to the rival area with 3-5 strikers.
The schemes or roles within the field are becoming less static and this is the main argument for which I raise this. If the second priority will already be useful due to the new system to select the players that will train, this can be used to help be more unpredictable to the teams and make this game a little more attractive.
And as I have commented to Dtox9, this is not to say that it is the final solution but it is a simple (practical) way to add more excitement to the game and allow users to further customize their teams.
Thank you for participating in this discussion. My idea is that developers read everything discussed in this space, allow them to build a better opinion on what was discussed and if they think it helps improve the game, implement it.

To compare with real life btw, Shitty play 2-8-0 in orders or sometimes 3-7-0........ some teams also sometimes play 3-6-1
i dont think at least 6-6-4 in max orders (as long as no extra training out from it) would harm the slightest...... even i still talk for unlock totally, as it an extra alternative to how you want your players to act.......

Oookey, I understand... well too will be a good option...
Another alternative that I see is that of finally being able to emulate the correct behavior of a lateral defender, who is not an extra central defender but rather a lane player, a player who supports on the wings both in defense and attack.
For me it is one of the great pending tasks of the game and with a simple change they could iterate and observe how the game develops in this way. With the new training system, I see an incredible growth to ME just by removing this restriction.

I'm for unlocking it too.
Currently you can already play any tactic you want. The orders are only a little information given to the player
So, the only goal I find to be limited is the training, but that limitation will have little sense in the new training system...
