if checked the miss in 75m is purely random ...
i played with a striker who had an injury so he played as a dummy ..

On my team roster my player Tomori is not injured, click on him it says slight injury,, I've read this a bug but which is true?, he has a green injury in the line up, so am I to assume he's still slightly injured?
On detail page of player is the source of truth

Is he available to play today and, If he does not get injured, will he get training this night?

You need to check that on training page:
If he is marked with red cross on training page he won't receive training, even if he will play in a match.
If he have some percent value there, he will get training (assuming no injuries in match)

Although if someone is advanced training, and they have no match time and are green cross (6 days or less) then they should get the minimum training (50%)

In this situation (right click -> open in next tab) You can see that players is still injuried today. And as per ingame events, first happens training update and next is injury update. So for Skywalker player (one with red cross and 7 next to it) will not provide training at all

Man, the answer can't be that you don't play. It's incredible how many excuses I've read to continue hiding that the duration of injuries is shit. There are 3 games per week, now the idea is to have 30-40 players on the squad?
I play in my stadium, I take care of the grass, rotations are made for all games and excuses keep coming up, it will be requesting to staff a filter in the friendlies section, "teams that do not injure players", it makes no sense.

Your problem was with losing training, not losing a player for games
He loses as much training as before, 1/week, so if anything it's better in this case for you, because the length of injuries was a bit shortened
It doesn't matter if you play at your stadium if you play against a team with 30 rating and players with bad defender skill
