Subject: [IDEA] delete the 3 lower skills

Charles Hill to All
My idea is to delete the lowest 3 skills and start with ´weak'. At least player will be able to hit a ball a bit better. The lowest skills often make no sense at all when promoted to first team. What player will ever make it through junior school when skills are tragic? Even weak is more then questionable, but okay, this way players won't all be keepers (for example), as they can be weak.

Edit typo

Edit2 Krcko Oraščić to Charles Hill

3 lowest skills are tragic (0), hopeless (1) and unsatisfactory (2), so players would start with "poor" ;)

10 year olds are at least adequate if they train every day or few times per week.

So we need junior schools to start at 8 not 16 :p

A minimum Pace level could be implemented, around 8~9 in my opinion.

Don't agree as then you should come up with a detailed system change plan regarding training, junior school, coaches levels, training up speed etc... pretty vague idea. But if you can give more details then, why not, idea itself is not bad but needs to be way more detailed.

It sounds more like you are after the lower skills to be a little more viable in actual match play, which makes a lot of sense.
I believe they actually plan on adding more skills in, so I can't see them deleting any, but there could be a (very low) chance that they could make the lowest skills just a little less painful to watch in the viewer

0 pace does not exist in real world... :)).
Or put it in other way: how come you can exit from YS as a excelent(10) player or higher, and have at least 8 (solid) striker, 8 (solid) tech and 0 (tragic) pace after at least 10 weeks or more of training? Doesn't make any sense

This is questionable. It is impossible to create the game which would totally reflect the logic of real world. I also wouldn't like it.
If you want it to be like in real world:
1) Season breaking injuries would be introduced. When your player first week gets 70 days injury and he misses all of the season, his stats drops per few levels;
2) A player couldn't play for NT on saturday morning if he played at friday evening;
3) Arcade games cancelled;
4) If you buy a player on sunday, he cannot play that day as he needs to travel. Also there is almost no market, only during off-season;
5) There are ultra mega talents, which at age 19 would have 3xunearthy-divine skills (as refer to Kylian Mbappe or others). 19-20 yo players would be quite better in mane aspects than older players and it would depend mostly on luck if you will pull this player.
There is only few samples which came to mind, what should be done if you want to reflect the REAL LIFE. Would it really be more fun to play this game?
For a very long time I also thought it should be as much realistic as possible, but it is not a good path.
It has to be a game and not a real life.

The solution is already done every weeks by managers : put those players at 1€ on market, or sacking. Until farming is a strategy in sokker if teams want to play those useless lower skills for training, why not, it's up to them.

The problem it is more in young school. We have almost no choice.

The Y.S exit overall level is very low for 90% of the juniors. Barely 10% are playable, and of these, only 1% attract the maximum amount of bids on the market because they dont have low skills for their positions . So we have 90% of the market players at 1€, 9% correct, and 1% that attract all the bids.
If we have 1% of "stars" why not, but only 9% correct it's a lack of choice on the market. The problem is the massive amount of useless players in sokker, and the so few 'playable' players.

+ 1 Removing 3 lower levels could help. Another idea is to speed up training on lower skills (even in y. school) and reduce training speed again for higher skills.

I totaly agree with you, it will be to complicated and maybe unattractive to recreate real life in this game. But also it would be nice that some of the characteristics like the distribution of skills of a young player exiting the YS to be more "logical". It's heart breaking to extract a player from YS, with great skills for ATT or MID or whatever and tragic (0) pace :)). Pace should start from at least 2 (unsatisfactory) or 3 (poor) after at least 10-15 weeks in YS... :)

"The problem it is more in young school."
Exactly! I'm really refering only at pace level that should never be "0". Even my grandma had some pace before she passed away...

Pace should be at least 8.

It's impossible to recreate real world in every areas, but everything that makes the game more realistic is welcome in my opinion, since it also makes sense in a game logic.

yes and mostly all young people have stamina in abundance and some sort of pace, i mean asif anyone would hire a person that could not run at all
