Not so much an idea but I'd like to hear how people from different countries have found this new season.

My opinion.

Despite being less weeks, this season has felt very very long, and boring.
The only thing I can put it down to is we have 2 interesting weeks in the season, 1st and last, and the rest the results are all pre-determined.
This means we have had 2/12 interesting weeks.

In the old system, there were 3 interesting weeks at either end of the season, meaning 6 interesting weeks in only a slight longer season.

So despite it being a shorter season, it has FELT a lot longer and less entertaining.

As far as the increased matches go.
This feels pressured. Slightly better than at the start of the season now I'm used to it, but all it takes is life to be just a little hectic and suddenly you don't have a lineup set and it takes 3x as long to readjust all lineups to fix the lineups so the right players get trained. But it's not pressured in an enjoyable way either, because, see above long season point. They are meaningless matches. Now the Wednesday matches were a different kind of league, than that may help, especially if its a competition against others you wouldn't usually come up against.

We are yet to see how the training change will feel next season, but I do know the changes to the schedule were not meant to make the seasons feel longer. They were brought in to make the game feel more fast paced, with more movement, more to play for etc. but somehow it has managed to do the opposite.

In France. Not good news from the frontline.

Some comments about too high a rate of matches/week; 2-3 teams are planning to stop as far as I know. Otherwise mainly complaints - as on international forums - about injuries that are difficult to manage during the week. Finally, some discussions on the future training system, not necessarily negative.

But above all, for the vast majority of the community it's indifference, silent forums. The changes have not changed anything, it seems that France will continue to lose players.

I do like the changes.
More matches a week is great, you don't have to wait for a week.
I do like it to have more opponents in a season.
Best season in a long time.
In my country there are more posts at the forum also.

Next to that I am looking forward to next season :)

this season has been quite challenging, not only by the 2 official matches per week, but even more by the extended training slots and the price fluctuations on TM, and by planing the time after the training reform.

in Germany we've seen some old manager leaving, I guess especially because they didn't want to spend the time needed to build a new team in such a transition situation. Maybe the subject with more matches -> more injuries also had an impact.

the future of sokker depends on how fast the reform will be finished, how successful the new Devs will be with marketing and how sokker will grow again.

btw, different standard settings for official and friendly matches still would help a lot to keep managers who feel under pressure with more matches

For me it was more fun, but I hate the bug with subs disapearing. We need an update for lineups asap, so it would be much easier for users to change it and we would save a lot of time. Now it is more or less a work to do all the stuff right.
I will say one more time, that all our country community users agree, that International league would be more interesting than double matches per week in country league.
This might be still reparable though.
I found this season interesting and waiting for changes in training system.

Thank you to everyone who has replied and taken this thread exactly as it was meant to be, just a personal feedback on how we have found the changes one season in.

I have not been playing for long but i like the new system. 1 game per week was not enough, now its more exciting with 2 games per week and more teams. For teams like me who are just beginning it is nice to be able to win games and not always losing to older teams, so i like that there are more teams. But i do understand that you need to check your line ups more, no problem for me, but i can imagine you sometimes have no time.
I hope more users will come in the future, because now i have the feeling a lot of older teams leave the game due to the changes.

For me - simply more games, that means nothing. Dont think that those small teams, that got promoted, enjoys getting crushed almost every game either.

+1 for me more injuries more boring season several weeks before the end was clear that no chances for first place that only matters
No chances for relegation
Two strong teams from top division gave up due injuries and too fast schedule
Not fair championship due several teams forgot line up. Hard times to adjust training
Due official game just before the update
For me change is negative Les time to focus on tactics aspect

But we all are still here and hope new training will fix it all ... It won't but we wait to see

But let's not just complain and propose solutions for problems we facing
- reduce more injury ratios
- move cup back on Wednesday and leguage Friday
- new training is must have for next season
- make places from 2 to 6 to matter more international competitions more teams to qualify..
- bonuses for standing in leguage from 1 to 6

- make places from 2 to 6 to matter more international competitions more teams to qualify..

Or double the number of places in the Champions Cup. It's just one week more. We will have 256 teams in CC from 98 countries. One example of distribution:

top 30 countries - 4 participants
31-54 - 3 participants
55-74 - 2 participants
75-98 - 1 participant

Yes these are good points
Injuries are being reduced but we must push for NT injuries to be even more reduced for a few reasons
The Cup/friendly must be Wednesday some have expressed this in the England forum
Yes the new training offsets peoples issues this season
I have always thought 2 places in the premiership should be European Qualifying places and maybe 3rd is a playoff to get in Europe

*I think 2 auto relegation spots and playoffs for 9th and 10th only as well
* Fans - you should maybe be able to declare your intentions for the season and have 4 options or so?
1. we are in transition and building a team for 2 or 3 seasons time
2. we intend to challenge for the premiership and not concentrate on cup
3. we intend to challenge for the cup and not the premiership as a way into Europe
4. we expect to win premiership and cup
these would have more affect on fans moods

I've been shelling fans for a few seasons and I've won the cup 3 times and been runner up in the premiership 3 times, i never see gates anywhere near full anymore, there's no rebuilding AI

*Form needs to go back to how it was , 4 possible jumps or drops a week, nothing was wrong with that.
As it is form is 100% worse than it was last season, and form wasn't perfect before! but gwad how i yearn for it to be the same as it was now!

*In shorter seasons and not being able to sell for a month [8 games maybe 12 with cup] form can smash teams up now

The game actually turned to be more interesting for me, no more long waiting for matches I am more active now then ever.

@5ky i checked several of your games you play always the same tactic... so how does that make it more interesting obviously you just load line up and do not consider the opponet

+1

They didn't soive the problem with a 1-3-9-27 division system. Still too stong teams with weak teams in 1 division. A system like 1-1-2-4-8-16 + large bottom league, could have put more equal teams together in the same league,

Only ones they have solved are Polish users.
And they don't seem to give a f.. about the rest of us.
