I think the devs wanted less top top quality players so i can understand why you would'nt want 14+ , for me 10 is not good, 11 should always be the min as we play 11 players every match, but I think 12 or 13 have not made my mind up yet I'll read what others say....
when I say one less player trained i mean in other skills not Pace or stamina
For me would be the best without limits. That means just advanced training without Formation. Just decrease effectivness/minutes so it makes it similar. Minutes from 2 league games and one friendly would give possibility of training 10-11 players with 100% effectiveness or more players with less effectiveness. Choice would be on users.
I would be against that. That would effectively change nothing, just force to throw more league games with trainees/off position players than now. But I don't thing devs will change anything regards training in foreseeable future so it is a moot point to discuss.

I would like formation training to have the same training effect as advanced training but with the big difference that all players with formation training start with 0% in stead of 50%

I understand that the idea of dev is players with shorter top attributes, I don't share that idea but I respect it... That said, the current training system looks good to me just for one detail, to compensate a bit for the difficulty in raising high skills, formation training should have a greater impact, 1/3 (33%) or 1/2 (50%) compared to advanced training.
If we are going to stop seeing players with higher attributes, a good measure to compensate for this is to provide the possibility of getting deeper and more balanced squads.

may be in this time, Devs are forgotten that sokker manager is a GAME...
I think 1 or 2 more in Advanced Training but they can only get a max of 75% training, so you can help 1 or 2 more players and swap them about, the 20% training no good to swap players about or warrant keeping more than 10 players U25, but what if you get injuries, so you keep 11 or 12 but ruin at least 1 I am finding
