Subject: [IDEA] delete or hide nonsense

Please delete or hide age with coaches, it looks completely ridiculous.
And also the height, weight and BMI of players. This also makes no sense at all.
This is a keeper, yeh right. When playing with mini goals maybe!
Loet Bleeker, age: 21
Length: 172 cm, weight: 72.1 kg, BMI: 24.37
Nonsense! Complete nonsense. Everything is wrong, all 3. And it is not even an working option in Sokker. Just hide it, or better, delete the whole idea as it will never really work.

Please add to the list:
Junior from Saturday
Branimir Basta 18 tragic [0] outfield 2
How is he able to walk?
Not questioning his desire to play any sports.. in these PC times.
Ridiculous!

And form...forcing world class players to play like pub football amateurs...
Form is a thing in football. Not the complete drop what happens in Sokker, that is too much. But it would be nice to have an option to improve this, although, irl this is also difficult.
The other things probably came up once, never thought it over

The bottom 3, 4 or even 5 levels/skills should be deleted.
No they shouldn't.
It's not the bottom 5 skills that's a problem, but the fact that the ME requires top skills to be able to see fairly decent football.
If you delete the top 5 skills, then there are only 13 skills left.
On top of that, would average be the new tragic?
The fact is that there's too much of a difference between an average fresh pull, a top U21 player and a top A-team player.
If we compare real life football players, they are or can be already a top A-team player and still being U21 player.
In this game it would ruin the gameplay. But the ME should be adjusted so that all skills should decrease in difference on the pitch, but divine and superdivine skills should be buffered as being 2 to 3 steps better than unearthly, so they are noticeably stronger in the match viewer (and ME).
This will make it worth working towards top skills AND also worth paying more wage for such players!
Now, because of form, divine players could turn out to be only average in the ME (match viewer) due to low form.
And this is also a thing that needs adjustment.
Imo form should only reduce succes ratio in technical skills executed.
But it's not that if Mbappë is out of form, he suddenly runs slower than the keeper f.e.
But his shots, dribbles and passes might be a bit off.

... and?
he's so bad for a professional level
you seriously want less levels = less pops = slower visually training?
if anything they should add more level, at least up to 20

Yes, but he does have a point here.
It's unrealistic from irl AND game view to have a football player that does not know how to play football, exiting the youth academy towards the first team squad!
He should at least have some quality somewhere.
You can say with tragic that he's the worst in that skill out of the entire game, so it's a really weak point or a very big working point, however you want to look at it.
But players coming out of the youth school should at least be able to do something right.
So Imo, the tragic, hopeless and unsatisfactory YOUTH general skills should disappear out of the game.
A youth player should at least be on the poor level when entering the youth academy.
And let him build from that point on.
Youth players coming out of the academy with these kind of skills are like players coming to football, only to deal some wheat or marihuana.
So they won't be sent through to the first team! This meaning these kind of players need to be filtered out of the game BEFORE entering the youth academy.
And now I'm talking about the general skill when entering the youth academy. tragic, hopeless and unsatisfactory.
Individually, these skills should remain to exist. If you have a skill tree, you need to have a bottom! If not, the tree won't be able to stand ;-)

no, it's a matter of perspective
these are not skills for a human being, these are skills for a football player
so when you get a hopeless youth... you get a version one of the worst in a youth team in real life, player who is not good for this level, who has no good characteristics, who just can't make it professionally
A youth player should at least be on the poor level when entering the youth academy.
why? these are youths showing at your academy door. you decide if you want to keep them. if you see that they have no chance to be good enough - you send them away.

That's just it! Good "enough"
They were never fit to play in the first place.
You speak about perspective, but have you ever seen a irl football club sent youth players to the first team when they are not even good enough for U15 level football?
This is my point.
Footballers do not come to a team when they are 16, unless by transfer or to play for fun, but never for A-team.
The players here should be able to play at least minimum football when they are sent through.
But the game should prevent tragic, hopeless and unsatisfactory youth.
These are the "play for fun and a pint with my mates" footballers.
As I said...tragic skills...yes.
Tragic youth (meaning all skills tragic or hopeless)... NO

that's why your youth coach told you that they are tragic or hopeless :-P

well I haven't promoted a hopeless or unsatisfactory youth to my team as well:)
Footballers do not come to a team when they are 16, unless by transfer or to play for fun, but never for A-team.
almost nothing about this game is realistic... there isn't even such thing as A team here :-)
and youths usually come to the youth teams at age 7-14...do you have that here? no, so the comparison doesn't really make sense
But the game should prevent tragic, hopeless and unsatisfactory youth.
so what is your solution? every youth you get is at least decent? that would be too easy, everyone would get too many good players
you'd have to limit the number of youths coming so you'd get 0-2 a week or something like that
you get a kid at your door, he gets one training, you see that he is not good enough... so you don't accept him/you delete him.
a team can keep such player but he won't turn out good
seriously don't see a problem with this aspect of youth school, just don't keep the weakest youths

Thing is... 98% is worthless...not worth training.
So out of about 10 seasons of play, you get 2 trainable players.
And then there's a 10% chance he has top talent, 10% chance he has a good skill distribution, about 10% chance he has the right amount of weeks left for his age and 30% chance he's 16, 17 or 18 years old in which the latter always result in a worthless player... 100%!
So there's 1 chance in about 3000 players, who are trainable (so not the untrainable in account ) the player has the perfect distribution.
So I have a problem with the statement, there are enough good youth players.

No, change it into %, a bar from 0 to 100, and normale players start at 20% for most skills, as 0% is crazy for profs. Just as the lowest skills are redicoules for profs. All tragic should never happen, not even 4x tragic, or hopeless or even poor. These players would never make it into junior schools
No more names for skills but % or just 0 to 100, without %. That makes sense. And is also more accurate to see progress of players

All right, you want to delete tragic, hopeless skills, how do you plan to compensate it to managers who have been training those players for seasons from tragic up to excellent for example? Are you also going to up current players in that case...seems a very bad idea...Don't agree here at all with losing lower skills... all the fun will be gone then.
You can talk about generating a better gameplay, by giving all levels from 0-17 more importance and value etc.. but removing skills it does not really resolve anything, it rather creates more bugs and issues on transfer market etc.. it will have a huge impact on every aspect of the game. Think twice before implementing something like this.
I would rather see extra two levels than removing any skill levels.

Agreed! Though the ME must be adjusted in full for this to be implemented without crashing the system.
