Subject: [ideea] REMOVE Tax for listing players
- 1
In my opinion the Listing Tax should be removed because it's only hurting the little guys (Teams).
The logic of it is that a lot of small (new) teams (managers) can not afford the Listing Tax and they will loose money for listing players at unpopular hours. For example for a manager living in Dallas (US) will be difficult to post or bid for players at certain hours in comparison with someone living in Central Europe.
I think sokker should (even if I don't like mentioning it) follow the example of hattrick, where players listing is free but the sooner you decide to sell a player, after you have bought it, the higher the taxes. For example if you decide to sell a player after only 1 week of buying it yourself you will pay a tax of 30% , after 2 weeks 25% if you sell him after 3 weeks it's 20%... 4 weeks 15%... etc. (just an example)
This way I think you achieve 2 things:
a. The small teams can get fairer prices for their players!
b. Day Trading will considerably DROP !
Players sold at fixed prices nowadays don't get much interest (even if managers can afford the Tax) because people always know that they can get lower prices at certain hours!
Have a nice day!

I would completly remove fixed price so every transfer would start from 0€, $ whatever currency.
Or remove tax from price below players value. If my GK if worth 1'000'000 € i could list him on TL with price 0-1'000'000 € without any tax.
Tax only from difference between higher price and players value. If I list same GK for 2'000'000 € on TL i would pay tax only from 1'000'000 €.

I know what you mean, but we all know that the player's value is irelevant!
I do like the idea of increased tax based on only having been in a team for a short period of time.
Another game I play has the following rules:
"if the player has spent his entire career in your squad, you receive all of the transfer proceeds.
if the player has spent at least 100 days in your squad, you will receive all of the transfer proceeds.
if the player has spent less than 100 days in your squad, you will receive 50 + (days/2)% of the proceeds. For example, if the player has been in your squad for 20 days you will receive 50+(20/2) = 60% of the proceeds."
I do still think there should be some amount of tax because even now, you see the same players posted over and over again at huge prices, not selling, until suddenly someone buys them. These taxes should be shown on Transfers page, because lots of teams who make a lot of money on the TL do exactly this. They then boast about how good their income from transfers is, like we cant see them listing for high prices, so losing money on the listing that doesnt sell, losing money on the normal transfer tax when they do sell, and losing money on the U23 tax too. Would be good to see teams actual positive and negative.
A complete removal of tax would mean more players just repeatedly listed for high prices. Tax doesn't really hurt large or small teams more as far as I see it.

... of course your point of view is also justified.
I guess is hard to cover all angels with the correct decisions....
Cheers!
