Hello friends, my name is Davide and I'm 32y old.
I'm an Engineer and I come from Taranto, for sure the italian city with its history most related to Hellas. I'm really proud of my hellenic origins, and my club is the demonstration.

I play Sokker from 2009, and I was the first of this year foundation to arrive in the italian Serie B (2nd league). I've great experience also with National Teams, both as Coach and as Staff member.

In the last seasons I was the Senior Coach of Italy, one of the biggest sokker community. Me with my staff (for the first time unique for both U21 and NT teams) did a great job in the DB Management, training monitoring and transfers observation for most talented players. This new organization will continue with future coaches.

I'd like to become your new Senior Coach, to reach the qualification as first and than trying to do a similar job in the DB management with your help. Only if necessary I'll call italian users here in my staff.

I'm ready for all your questions.

Trying to explain step by step, we implemented during some weeks starting from NT staff only and than making a unique staff with U21 for NTDB management. It's an hard job, but starting from second season we're taking benefits from it.

Ok, our actual NTU21 structure is divided into 3 different federations:

- NT/U21 DB Staff (link)

We use the ufficial italian federation (the one in the main national page), this has got 2 important features: no Plus-Account is required to take part (everyone could operate into that), the admin of this federation is always the NT-Coach (when he change, the admin change is automatic).

We use this federation only for NTDB management, players updating, transfers monitoring, training tutoring for talented player, best young players on thursday, stadium database and so on... only the management of the common heritage, nothing about dedicated technical or tactical issues for matches.

The members in that doesn't change when Coach change, they continue their job always... with really big benefits that you should understand. When new Coach arrive, he don't care about DB update and organization... staff is ready.

- NT Technical Staff and U21 Staff (different and separate ones)

these are private federations, if Coach need, to discuss and prepare matches with users he want to. These users don't care about DB management...

To be continue... later :)

About the NTDB Staff organization, these are the members we ave:

- NT-Coach and U21-Coach: their role in this national federation is only for supervisioning and comunication with NTDB Staff members about training evaluations, transfers monitoring, BOT players saving, etc. Their big activity is related to players selections and tactical preparation of matches, but for that they use the private federations I mentioned before.

- DB Manager (or Scouts Leader): he's probably the key-man of this Staff. Esporting the DB into Excel file (easy filters available), he prepares (1 time each week or 2 weeks) the lists of players that needs to be updated and assigns these lists to the scouts. These lists are for the entire DB, no age distinctions... so all the players, also middle age like 22-25 usually neglected, are updated.

He also checks players in BOT team that need to be saved, no more existing player to be cancelled, etc... and at least 1 or 2 times each season uses a scouting script to find interesting players in Sokker out of NTDB.

- Scouts: they are not assigned to a specific role (GK, DEF, etc.) as usual, and don't need to access to the NTDB. They receive periodically an assigned list of player to be updated, send a standard mail to player's owner, translate if needed the skills into numbers and write that in a dedicated thread (PLAYERS TO BE UPDATED) into the Federation forum. Other dedicated threads there are for BOT players and no more existing players. Number of scouts depends from how much big is the NTDB.

- DB Updater: he read the players written by scouts into the thread PLAYERS TO BE UPDATED and then update the skills into the NTDB. No scouts to do that, he's the man.

- Market Scout: 1 time each 2 days at least, he update the xml data of NTDB, export the NTDB into Excel file and check with filters the players on trasfers list / transfers announcement. Using oSokker flag he update them easily... with this 2 days check, no players are out of transfers monitoring. The best ones are written in a dedicated thread to be evaluated from Coaches for national advertising.

Other roles we have... like training tutor, and new juniors observer.. but this come after organization started.

Tomorrow I'll explain you some other activities we have... also the Stadium database :)

Thank you all, friends ;)

Here's other activities we've done in the last 2 seasons:

- Best players training monitoring:
We extract from the entire NTDB the best 20 players for each age from 18 to 25 and put them into an online DB (Google Cloud) for training and transfers control (example link).

- Italian trainers database
Another Google cloud DB to collect italian users training programs, in order to contact them if important players goes on market or even before. Keep talents in own country helps sometimes.

- Best weekly junior players
A weekly selection with forum survey on the best junior exits from school (example link)

- National Stadium Database
... another google cloud db (sorry, I like it XD) to collect national stadium. This is useful for Coach during tactical choices and funny for community to see the NT playing in Club Arenas. Each stadium selection is presented before match (example link)

All this extra activities was implemented with time, hard work an adeguate numer of users and expecially good ones. I hope, step by step and expecially after summer end to do part or all of these here in Hellas (if elected)... but for sure I need your help!

Next posts I'll present me on the tactical side!

Last part of my presentation, probably the most important one as NT-Coach... the tactical point of view.

First of all my first opinion is that is better to have 4-5 tactics equilibrate, well known e suitable for own players availability, instead of try to do each match the best counter-tactic you think suitable for the opponent tactic you suppose. The worst match I did in this 2 seasons with NT-Italy is the most studied one... I have even replicated opponent tactics, looking a lot of his matches, and did a lot of arcade matches (in my friend team) in order to simulate the match... game lost 1-5, but the bigger lesson learned.

DEF: I usually play with 4 defenders in line, plus 1 strong defensive midfielder who become the 5th man during defensive action. I love the "elastic" movement, middle high defensive line and the overlaps of defenders for doubling in the last editor lines. I really don't like the pure 5 in-line defense, at least a 3 central + 2 side defenders with playmaking attitude.

MID: I love this zone... the nevralgic one, probably the most decisive one in a very equilbrate match. I'm able to use different kind of solutions: "in-line" 2 central + 2 side (not wing), 3 central (both triangle and reverse-triangle disposition) + 1 pure wing, 5 "V" disposed midfielders, and even module with central offensive playmaker. Every coach like to have 5x17 midfielders, but if not possible in the central zone I prefer to have an high playmaking skill than a defensive one, I always prefer to propose my game and not to wait and broke the opposite one.

ATT: Most of the time I use 2 strickers with alternate vertical fast movement in the editor, in order to invite the midfield to pass vertically towards the area. But very often, if needed, I use also a 3 strikers offensive module. Only with 5 midfielders with "V" disposition, I put only 1 striker... but is not a common solution of mine.

Srbija is the rival for 1st place in this qualification group, great respect to Ukraina and Malaysia also... but qualification is a must! ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ

I understood by the other electoral thread that some greek users prefer an own candidate... It's a condivisible opinion, same situation in Italy and everywhere.

But I'll continue my candidature here in Hellas, I strongly believe to be a better choice than my greek rival... by experience, by electoral programs... by a real desire to do something good for this NT. I've different electoral opportunities (first of all remain in Italy or the world cup winner Suomi after my friend Vikingo67)... but I strongly wanted this challenge in Hellas!

Some greek users (I don't know if is possible to say who) will be part of the NTDB staff I've in my mind... because I strongly believe that the NT and its players belong to the community.

In the next days I'll start with some activities you would like, even before electoral results... If I'll not win, I'll leave this to the future Coach anyway.

I got a number of questions.

1.What's the reason you have desided to be a candidate for the Greek team. You said that you have greek origins. Do you understand the language by any chance?

2.You mentioned that there are some greek managers that wish to help you. I would like to know, if this is possible who will be your new staff so we could judge accordingly

3.Last year Italy had a rough year in WC and lost against Turkey and England, what happened?

thank you!
