Ok ... calm and cool, today we begin the final round... the matches of in or out. Today we play against Spain, a team that has successfully passed their group with 3/3 victories. Opponent is not easy, so ... but at this point of the World Cup, nothing will be easy. Unfortunately we are not in the best condition about midfield, but we will play this game with the tactics and determination as we always did.
I hope to give you another emotion, you are a fantastic community and you deserve it ... despite the holidays, the concentration for this challenge has always been high.

Εντάξει ... ήρεμη και δροσερή, σήμερα αρχίζουμε τον τελικό γύρο ... οι αγώνες του μέσα ή έξω. Σήμερα παίζουμε εναντίον της Ισπανίας, σε μια ομάδα που έχει περάσει με επιτυχία της ομάδας τους με 3/3 νίκες. Αντίπαλος δεν είναι εύκολο, έτσι ... αλλά σε αυτό το σημείο του Παγκοσμίου Κυπέλλου, τίποτα δεν θα είναι εύκολο. Δυστυχώς δεν είμαστε σε καλύτερη κατάσταση για μεσαία γραμμή, αλλά θα παίξουμε αυτό το παιχνίδι με την τακτική και αποφασιστικότητα όπως πάντα έκανε.
Ελπίζω να σας δώσει μια άλλη συγκίνηση, είστε μια φανταστική κοινότητα και το αξίζετε ... παρά τις διακοπές, η συγκέντρωση για την πρόκληση αυτή ήταν πάντα υψηλό.

Incredible match... this team is not for the faint of heart :)
Again two different tactics for us... and we saw two sides of the same medal:
1) very bad the first half... 0-2 score and 60% of game play in our midfield...
2) great second half.. 3-3 the final score and 58% game play in their midfield...... and probably we deserved the victory in the 90' without extra time and penalties...
... but it was finally more exciting in this way ;)

But as Mitroglou said, I'm "just one piece of a huge jigsaw"... we have not to forget the members of the NT/U21 Staff, who are doing a great job in the NTDB management... the owners and trainers of our great players... and all of you that are partecipating to our NT/U21 initatives...
... Sokker is a game, and this experience as coach of NT Hellas is the most exciting I've ever done... I really hope to keep on in this World Cup and to give you other satisfactions... ready to face our next opponent!

... Sokker είναι ένα παιχνίδι, και αυτή η εμπειρία ως προπονητής του ΝΤ Hellas είναι η πιο συναρπαστική που έχω κάνει ποτέ ... πραγματικά ελπίζω να συνεχίσουμε σε αυτό το Παγκόσμιο Κύπελλο και να σας δώσει και άλλες τέτοιες ικανοποιήσεις ... έτοιμη να αντιμετωπίσει ο επόμενος αντίπαλός μας!

A friend of mine told me that our next opponent will be England... I don't know if it's exact, tomorrow we'll know :)
One of the best games one can watch in sokker in a high level. Some thoughts..
In the first half the system was somewhat irregular, saleas running in the wings and Topoliatis as an AMC was quite odd. The system in the second half though was super solid and our top players dominated.
Each time Topoliathis has the ball u feel that he is able to do something big, Psarris was great as a winger and Athanasopoulos was superb. Great job!

Yeah, you're right when you say "irregular", mate... it's exactly what we (me and my assistant gegio) want with that tactic, especially in our offensive line, trying to break up the high and compact spanish defense... Saleas start as winger, but go faster to the goal without ball when the game was in the in spanish midfield. Anyway the worst solution is our low defensive line, they give the ball playmaking to our opponent.
The system in the second half though was super solid and our top players dominated.
Each time Topoliathis has the ball u feel that he is able to do something big, Psarris was great as a winger and Athanasopoulos was superb. Great job!

What we did till now was great, in this World Cup and in the International Ranking... but now we've the opportunity to do something "epic". Today we'll play against the strongest NT in Sokker, trying to reach the first semifinals of hellenic history.
I feel your emotional involvement around this tournament and I'll do my best to win this game, "impossible is nothing"... I hope to offer you another exciting match, this team can!
