It's an amazing group, very very difficult... maybe the strongest one... if we'll be able (and lucky) to reach 1/8 finals after these matches, I think we'll be ready to win the World Cup too... LOL :P

Zarmpozanis is monster , lucky to have him , one of best attackers in sokker

its true if we go through this group , we can defeat any opponent and conquer the cup :)

These are the average marks in the qualification groups... seems that we've nothing to lose but all to gain... these are the kind of matches I like more :)

We're not lucky with form/injury of our top players in the last weeks... Papoutsis is an example, but I also think to Zarmpozanis, Lanaris, Kouridakis and so on...

NT World Cup

vs

World Cup - Group G - 1st Match: Eesti - Hellas

3... 2... 1... GO! The NT World Cup started again! It's the 2nd WC for me with Hellas, the third in total. Our group is the hardest one (as reported in the World Cup Guide in Sokker International), this means that each match is unpredictable and all 4 teams are strong enough to reach the 1/4 finals, probably win the WC too. Maybe, in this very equilibrated situation, matches will be decided by the right tactical choices and the luck in the topic moments.

Our best strikers are in good condition of form, I can't say the same about midfielders and in particular for keepers. I still have some doubts about this match disposition, but in the next hours I'll take my final decisions... hoping these will be winning ones ;)

I'm on vacation with family, and I still don't find the right moment to watch and comment the match... but the result is very very bad :(

Now we need 2 incredible performance against Romania and Chile to reach the 1/8 finals... very difficult but not impossible...

I'm out for vacation with my family, and I'm having a lot of trouble with internet connection... so excuse me if I can't post the presentation of the match... I use my few time for match preparation...

... few words... tomorrow we'll play for victory against Romania, the actual world champion... this is actually the only result that could save us from the elimination at the group stage... it sounds like a mission impossible, but I believe we can... GO Hellas!

After the match against Eesti in which I think we deserved a better score (we hit a goal post, Saleas missed a lot of 1vs1 and also an incredible goal without goalkeeper)... today we take only 1 point vs Romania (missing a penalty). Anyway it seems that we play always better with the 2nd tactic, and this is my big fault.

... now we're 99% out of the World Cup, I'm very sorry for that... but there's a very very little opportunity to go through and I want to believe in it, I think that luck must be on our side next saturday.

We need a great victory vs Chile, and hope in small victory of Romania vs Eesti... also a draw in the other match is possible, but in this case the goal difference is even more difficult to compensate.

nothing to do... we're out of World Cup for goal difference. My big fault was to use wrong tactics in both first halfs vs Eesti and Romania, but finally we did in all matches more shoots than our opponents, so I think we was unlucky in the topic moments... like the penalty missed vs Romania.

Anyway with victory vs Chile we come back in the 9th position of ranking, so now we've to finish in the best way this season trying to do a good Euro U27 and keeping a good ranking position for the future of this NT team.

Sorry also for lack of presentations in the forum, this holidays give me few time for that...
