nothing to do... we're out of World Cup for goal difference. My big fault was to use wrong tactics in both first halfs vs Eesti and Romania, but finally we did in all matches more shoots than our opponents, so I think we was unlucky in the topic moments... like the penalty missed vs Romania.

Anyway with victory vs Chile we come back in the 9th position of ranking, so now we've to finish in the best way this season trying to do a good Euro U27 and keeping a good ranking position for the future of this NT team.

Sorry also for lack of presentations in the forum, this holidays give me few time for that...

My target for this world cup was higher than the achieved result... but that's it.

After the world cup elimination, Hellas played 5 friendly matches (3 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss) and maintained the 10th position in the World Ranking.

Next saturday we'll start the 5th Euro U27 edition, an interesting competition between the best 16 European teams.

In the first Euro U27 match the result on the field was 2-2, but... Srbjia used 5x28y players, so our official result will be 3-0 for Hellas.

On saturday we'll play vs Norge, looking at numbers it's the easiest match of the group, if we'll get the 3 points we'll matematically achieve the qualification to the 1/4 finals.

The bad and unlucky loss vs Norge was fatal for our qualification to the 1-8 finals of Euro U27... and the good draw vs Polska was unuseful.

Now we'll continue for 9-16 finals till the end of the season... than I think to leave the head of Hellas-NT. My effort in the last season was very inadeguate, so it's the time to hang over to a new coach... maybe a greek one.

I will be available to assist the future coach in order to make him start in the best way.

yeah, and we lost a lot of ranking points... very unfair mistake, I really don't understand how it could be happen in match that comes from other regular U27 matches... mmm...

As Russian U21 coach, I would like to apologize on behalf of those who support me there, for past U27 match of Russian NT (the coach used 8 players between 28-32 years old). I do not agree and I am ashamed for the "horrible mistake" of national team coach, even if I am not a member of these community. It was mistake or not, the point is than Russia advanced in 31 place, ousted Canada from first 32 places and is waiting the WC qualifiers draw in the second hat.

Davor, great work as a manager of the Greek team in general, especially in organizing every single aspect from scouting to coaching. The results were always good and your influence in the greek community was quite important. You had been voted the best "greek" manager the last season for a good reason in my point of view.
