Unfortunately this week I had important work commitments in Real Life and I was able to study very little!

From next week I will certainly be more present!

Dear Greek friends,
I understand that the qualification was not as expected but I assure you that I for one was disappointed and angry!

Someone writes to me that I was lucky to qualify and nothing can be argued about this but at the same time we cannot talk about failure because Greece will play the World Championship!!!

Before issuing negative sentences, let's analyze the season:

1- In the two matches against Uruguay we suffered the expulsion of my central defender and therefore the match was turned upside down (especially the first where we won 3-0 in the first half) and not played on equal terms but at the same time I must admit that in yesterday's match I made some mistakes, inexplicable for me given that I am a very experienced coach, which put the qualification itself in difficulty.

2- In the match lost against the Philippines I only conceded two shots after having had more and more opportunities to take the lead. The classic sokker game. which happens every now and then, in which the result seems already written.

3- Since the start of the season the team has suffered an impressive series of injuries and suspensions which has almost never allowed me to field the starting lineup. Furthermore, I can add continuous drops in form which further restricted the team's roster but despite this I started from the bottom and reached first place in the group, unfortunately lost in yesterday's unfortunate match.

4- Don't forget the great victory against Poland playing a textbook match and this was able to happen when unfortunate and adverse events did not occur and we were able to play on equal terms!

5-I invite you to reflect on one thing if there hadn't been the expulsion in yesterday's match, which in fact influenced all the tactical changes
set by me, the result could have been different (I'm sure!) and we would have qualified in first place. So how can you make the judgment of an entire season, conditioned by so many negative events, depend on just one match?

6- This season with my club team playing in the Italian Serie A, where there are very strong teams, I came in second place fighting against the new champions for almost the entire championship. This is just to say that the season with Greece was particularly unfortunate and full of adverse events!

I repeat that I am aware of my mistakes, on the other hand everyone has had a less brilliant season than usual, but after all, Greece will play the World Championship and therefore, as I was written, we cannot speak of failure!

Certainly one may or may not like my management and therefore everyone can decide to reconfirm me or not, however I have always believed and fought to maintain that replacing a coach who has achieved qualification on the field is not the most correct thing to do because it is It's right that everyone plays the cards they've earned!

Hello my friend. For me always a greek coach will be the 1st choice for our national teams. I dont care if the results were not the best but i care that we manage to qualify. For me you did your best.

Thanks Mister but it wasn't my best season even though I qualified for the World Cup.

I respect your point of view but in my opinion those who have put in the effort and achieved a result should have the opportunity to complete their job!

Αγαπητοί Έλληνες φίλοι,
Καταλαβαίνω ότι η πρόκριση δεν ήταν η αναμενόμενη, αλλά σας διαβεβαιώνω ότι απογοητεύτηκα και θύμωσα!

Κάποιος μου γράφει ότι ήμουν τυχερός που προκρίθηκα και δεν μπορεί να αμφισβητηθεί τίποτα για αυτό αλλά ταυτόχρονα δεν μπορούμε να μιλάμε για αποτυχία γιατί η Ελλάδα θα παίξει Παγκόσμιο Πρωτάθλημα!!!

Πριν βγάλουμε αρνητικές προτάσεις, ας αναλύσουμε την εποχή:

1- Στα δύο ματς με την Ουρουγουάη υποστήκαμε την αποβολή του κεντρικού μου αμυντικού και ως εκ τούτου το ματς ανατράπηκε (ειδικά το πρώτο όπου κερδίσαμε 3-0 στο πρώτο ημίχρονο) και δεν παίξαμε επί ίσοις όροις αλλά ταυτόχρονα. Οφείλω να ομολογήσω ότι στο χθεσινό ματς έκανα κάποια λάθη, ανεξήγητα για μένα δεδομένου ότι είμαι πολύ έμπειρος προπονητής, που έβαλαν την ίδια την πρόκριση σε δύσκολη θέση.

2- Στον αγώνα που χάθηκε από τις Φιλιππίνες επέτρεψα μόνο δύο βολές αφού είχα όλο και περισσότερες ευκαιρίες να προηγηθώ. Το κλασικό παιχνίδι sokker. που συμβαίνει κάθε τόσο, στο οποίο το αποτέλεσμα φαίνεται ήδη γραμμένο.

3- Από την αρχή της σεζόν, η ομάδα έχει υποστεί μια εντυπωσιακή σειρά τραυματισμών και τιμωριών που δεν μου επέτρεψαν σχεδόν ποτέ να αγωνιστώ στην αρχική ενδεκάδα. Επιπλέον, μπορώ να προσθέσω συνεχείς πτώσεις στη φόρμα που περιόρισαν ακόμη περισσότερο το ρόστερ της ομάδας αλλά παρόλα αυτά ξεκίνησα από τον πάτο και έφτασα στην πρώτη θέση του ομίλου, δυστυχώς έχασα στο χθεσινό άτυχο ματς.

4- Μην ξεχνάτε τη μεγάλη νίκη εναντίον της Πολωνίας παίζοντας έναν αγώνα σχολικού βιβλίου και αυτό μπόρεσε να συμβεί όταν δεν συνέβησαν ατυχή και δυσμενή γεγονότα και μπορέσαμε να παίξουμε επί ίσοις όροις!

5-Σας καλώ να αναλογιστείτε ένα πράγμα, αν δεν είχε γίνει η αποβολή στον χθεσινό αγώνα, η οποία μάλιστα επηρέασε όλες τις αλλαγές τακτικής
που έβαλα εγώ, το αποτέλεσμα θα μπορούσε να ήταν διαφορετικό (είμαι σίγουρος!) και θα είχαμε προκριθεί στην πρώτη θέση. Πώς μπορείς λοιπόν να κάνεις την κρίση μιας ολόκληρης σεζόν, που εξαρτάται από τόσα αρνητικά γεγονότα, να εξαρτάται από ένα μόνο ματς;

6- Αυτή τη σεζόν με την ομάδα του συλλόγου μου να παίζει στην ιταλική Serie A, όπου υπάρχουν πολύ δυνατές ομάδες, ήρθα στη δεύτερη θέση παλεύοντας ενάντια στους νέους πρωταθλητές για σχεδόν όλο το πρωτάθλημα. Αυτό για να πούμε ότι η σεζόν με την Ελλάδα ήταν ιδιαίτερα ατυχής και γεμάτη αρνητικά γεγονότα!

Επαναλαμβάνω ότι γνωρίζω τα λάθη μου, από την άλλη όλοι είχαν μια λιγότερο λαμπρή σεζόν από ότι συνήθως, αλλά τελικά η Ελλάδα θα παίξει Παγκόσμιο Πρωτάθλημα και επομένως, όπως έγραψα, δεν μπορούμε να μιλάμε για αποτυχία!

Σίγουρα σε κάποιον μπορεί να αρέσει ή να μην αρέσει η διαχείρισή μου και ως εκ τούτου ο καθένας μπορεί να αποφασίσει να με επιβεβαιώσει ξανά ή όχι, ωστόσο πάντα πίστευα και πάλευα για να διατηρήσω ότι η αντικατάσταση ενός προπονητή που έχει κατακτήσει τα προσόντα στο γήπεδο δεν είναι το πιο σωστό πράγμα γιατί είναι σωστό ότι ο καθένας παίζει τα χαρτιά που έχει κερδίσει!

Πρέπει να σε στηρίξουν και σε αυτή σεζόν αφού σε προτειναν γιατί σε μια σεζόν είναι λίγο το διάστημα σου.

Αναλόγως αποτελέσματος εκλογών,γιατί έχεις ένα αντιπαλο-χρηστη έμπειρο να συνεχίσεις να βοηθάς την ομάδα και ας χάσεις τις εκλογές.
