So you think the spelling is wrong. Thanks :) I shall look for the correct spelling (in English) of that name.
How do you write it in Greek (letters)?

From my little research...

Amycla - was the nurse of Alcibiades and she was from Lacedaemon. At least this is what Plutarch says.

Apsephion - at the eve of the Sicilian invasion and the desecration of the statues of Hermes "At this time Peisander and Kharikles, who were members of the board of inquiry and regarded as the most fervent of democrats, began to put it about that the herm choppers were not a small group of criminals, but a cabal seeking to overthrow the democracy. (Andok., DeMyst., 36) After this, one Diokleides came forward to say that he had seen and recognized nearly 300 men the night of the incident. He made his initial accusation at a meeting of the Council and denounced 42 men, beginning with Mantitheus and Apsephion who were Councilors and at the meeting." link: >>before scisily<<

HELP... :)

OK... so no one wants to help me with the names... :( but, I have still not despaired with you lot and have a another question, maybe I'll be more lucky this time... :)

Does anyone know any curses in Ancient/Koine Greek?
Things like: Shut-up, idiot, go to hell, coward, etc...
If anyone knows these words I need their original form in Greek AND in English (pronunciation).

Thanks in advance.

Does anyone know where I can find these words in Koine Greek?
I need to insert them in phrases said by some Greek soldiers in the historical novel I'm writing.
I appreciate all help on this.

Δεν λέω για τα στρατά. Μου 'ρθε μια αρχαία λέξη και την έγραψα.

Κινώ + Αιδώς=shame. Άρα προκαλούν ντροπή, επομένως δεν ήταν και πολύ normal...
