Δεν λέω για τα στρατά. Μου 'ρθε μια αρχαία λέξη και την έγραψα.

Κινώ + Αιδώς=shame. Άρα προκαλούν ντροπή, επομένως δεν ήταν και πολύ normal...

guys not greek here...

I didn't understand much from this debate in Greek here and I'll try to explain my needs, I apologise if some of you already know that.

I am writing a historical novel taking place at around 170BC.
Since I am fascinated with Greek culture - like it was then in those days,...today you are just barbarians ;-) - and Greece was a dominating force, Greek language was spoken in many many countries by locals and Greek soldiers.

In many parts of the book there are conversations with and between Greek soldiers and while the book is written in English, I wish to insert some words in original Koine Greek.
For example I got: es hai'dou… Bask' i'thi! which means To Hell (with it)… Go!
I got it from this web site: Ancient Greek phrases

I need more words, or exclamations, maybe even curses a soldier might utter when angry or excited.
Something one soldier might shout to another or the enemy, or a commander might say to one of his soldiers.
General shouts and sounds of a Greek camp or even when marching.

If anyone knows these words in Koine Greek I would greatly appreciate your help.
Thanks
:)
