Hello everybody ,
I think I have found a solid solution for LOST.
First of all I take as evidence some pieces from the episodes.
a. the giant foot with the 4 toes
b. the ancient ruins all over the island such as monoliths and cions
c. the realy ancient looking weel ,the one Ben is turning at the last episode
d. the hierogliphics on some stones . (all these are available at the
wikipedia-lostpedia section).
And here is something that blew my mind!!!!
The authors of this series said that they are fans of Stephen King (who I also admire) so I searched a book of his that I read ''hearts in Atlantis''
Check the cover!!! and see what is written on the flyer below the cat ''LOST'' .(you can find it at wikipedia by searching ''hearts in atlantis'' also if you google ''Stephen King'' and search the first result , (the oficcial site of S.K.) you will find the comment
''..Stephen King's new book will take some readers to a place they have never been...and others to a place they have never been able to completely leave.'' hm...
So my guess is that ''Lost'' reffers to the lost civilazation Atlantis the only land with such incretible characteristics as magnetic fields and mysticim.
Darma found it and tried to manipulate the its powers.

p.s. does the guy that never ages (the one who visited lok when he was a boy) remind you of some comic hero?!?!?!?!?!?! NAMOR ? I don't know.
Too many coincidencies. I am not saying that lost has the same scenario with S.K.'s hearts in Atlantis but I am saying that the authors got their inspiration from somewhere.. think about it and most of all if you don't believe me chek the refferencies I am giving you.
Thank you for your patience and I am realy sorry for any mistakes in my writing.
