Subject: I need your help! Greek words
- 1
Guys I need your help a lot. I have a test for the university, I have to give it to my teacher tomorrow. I have 12 coptic (old Egyptian) words that came from the Greek language. Could you please be so nice to help me?
1 χρια / χρεια -
2 ταχυ -
3 τροφε - food
4 ψυχε - soul
5 υπογραφε -
6 ωσδε -
7 ιρηνη - peace
8 τοπος - (holy) place
9 συμανε
10 συμανε
11 ετι / ετει
12 στου
In the 12th word, the t looks like a t&p combined in 1 letter.
Thanks a lot for your help, I hope it won't cost much time. But I really need you guys.

ahh.. thanks a lot... I will find a way to rewrite them. The problem is, that I have the coptic letters here ;-).. but you're a big help already.
I think χρεια means "need" (χρεια-ζομαι)
voice (not exactly) is χροια
voice (not exactly) is χροια
OK, but χρεια is a noun: So I guess it means "the need" ?
Edit:
Yes I found it. It means: the need. Thank you :)

I only need 1 word, then I'm finished:
ετι / ετει / ητει / ητι It is a noun.
ετι / ετει / ητει / ητι It is a noun.
