Subject: loosing managers

Problem is India is not a Sokker crazy country--
How many people do watch soccer..very less...one thing is true tht thanks to EPL craze is getting bigger but still it would take some time.

Let me have some try in Hattrick--hv some contacts wherein wud try to pull some managers from there......especially those who are tired of losing in hattrick

Just be careful in who you approach in Hattrick, the administrators of that game consider this sort of mail as spam. They are a bit afraid of losing managers to Sokker.

Now a days in mumbai
most of my friends love soccer much more than cricket

but the problem is that they love playing FIFA,PES,UEFA srather than sokker

the managerial skills and thrills are not really understood by them.

Age groups and problems
1-5:no internet access(understood)
6-20:lack of interest in sokker(interested in FIFA,etc.......)
20:35:Lack of time(50-60 hrs at work per week)
35--:no interest in soccer, leave alone sokker

age group of 6-35 has the highest internet access:.................
can be seen on orkut
THIS AGE GROUP IS THE ONLY HOPEFUL AGE GROUP

i will spam on ht
i don't mind loosing my team
will also spam on bt(battrick)

There must be a part of these young people who are keen on the tactical side of the game and the chance of developing your own squad.

In Europe there is a great market for this. The big difference in this between India and Europe is that there or no Indian soccer-players in real life yet who they can identify with. Should that happen the interest in this sort of games will be massive !

the closest an indian can get is Micheal Chopra(half indian) or Biachung Bhutia(played one season for Bury FC in football league 2)

i am a sokker original unlike most others who are hattrick rebels
I used to play soccer manager(real life club based game)
I saw a sokker ad on soccer manager and decided to give it a try

I joined hattrick much later after I heard that it sucks(just to see how much it actually sucks)

Offcourse Hattrick is/was a great game, but I think the problem of Hattrick is you can't see live what your team does wrong, I find that very frustrating in case you loose against a team that looks weaker....

The problem is that most indian youths want to identify themselves with Cristiano Ronaldo and not alex furguson or arse wenger

Here are my opinions on this topic

First point - HT is not as bad as wat it is being put up by andy.. I myself play both and both of them have their own thrills... In Sokker the managerial is better since we can c the match.. In HT the youth squad and fans system is better.. we can actually train the youth players as per their position...

Second point - The issue with Indians is, as pointed out, cricket having a bigger market here. No doubt other sports like Soccer, F1 are also picking up..

Third point - Its not about the age groups and abt the types of games they play.. I play sokker and HT as much as i play FIFA07.. And mind u i too work 50+ hrs a week and come in the 25+_ bracket :):) Its all abt interest.. wat i feel where sokker loses out to HT is in the user interface provided... HT seems to have a better interface which keeps noobs interest for longer.. rather than Sokker...

what sokker lacks most is newbie training
which is provided by HT and TM

Since last 2 years,Me & Mihir (Unsinkables) are playing Hattrick---In start it used to be thrilling for me as there Match engine used to be best. But they have not improved much.

Still there are no Substitutions--->which is a big setup
Also if you capture your midfield with 5 MID then u wont lose to a large extent

N worst thing was since start of season i was training Defnding n now recently they communicated that Wing backs wont be receiving any training as there was an error

In last 2 seasons, 6 six teams from Golden league hv left for some or other reasons with one hvng an obvious reason of being tired playing.

Only advantage Hattrick is having is it was first online management game which was successful--it would take time for sokker to come in..but it will

yesterday there were 2 managers in waiting list
today they are gone and no of managers is the same
