frankly discuss the mistakes you made as a newbie so that the current newbies don make the same mistakes also tell the good things you did as a newbie
The first good (and most important) thing i did was contacted De Generaal and followed the advice he shared with me....
I feel that all Newbies shud get in touch with the Indian NT committee members and they will surely guide u thru the important initial phase...

Mistake:I recruited too many coaches
many wont believe but I lost about 8 000 000Rs.-10 000 000 Rs.
Good jobs:I bought
Erik Újlaky, age: 27
formidable stamina, tragic keeper
weak pace, tragic defender
solid technique, poor playmaker
average passing, good striker
for 325 000 Rs. and he has been the best scorer for me
and another good job I did was that i followed the advice of De generaal

I'll write down the most common do's and don'ts:
DO
- Set training on stamina in first weeks
- Sack some useless players and coaches (get advice from an experienced manager)
- Determine (possibly with help) which kind of players you want to train
- Open up a Juniorschool by putting the number of places on 6, after receiving the first Juniors, appoint a Junior coach with at least a general level of "outstanding"
DON'T
- Expand your stadium rightaway (wait till you are in the 2nd Division)
- Buy players recklessly
- Be careful in recruiting coaches, don't contract them before you are absolutely sure he suits your training demands. Recruiting is a money-robbing activity if you don't take care

another thing to do
make anew tactic straightaway
the default tactics are total crap
make sure the defense is in one straight line
something like this
thanks to nin for the video
De Generaal, please explain the above point

A big mistake on this game is jumping on the tranferlist first thing without even studying the transfer market or knowing anything about the transfer market. Also if you dont visit the forums and ask questions, then thats a mistake as well.
What I think should be done is to contact experienced managers and ask them for advice
p.s. Everything on this is the mistakes I made.
