Good initiative !
Its a good way to force some of the managers to get rid of the older B-players in their teams.

The only thing I must say is that you don't have to be too strict with the rules.
It can happen that someone's A-squad player of 25 is suspended for the League match on Sunday. I think that such a player is allowed to play in the U-24 on Wednesday.

certain things are allowed and rules are always negociable

It is not for being strict but to make sure people play youngsters
also any player above 25 rarely pops

This cup has two benefits:
1)Just as De Generaal said Its a good way to force some of the managers to get rid of the older B-players in their teams.
2)It will help the 2nd and 3rd division teams to know how the higher division teams play(their playing style etc.)
eg.at present I am not very sure how priyo or bhavesh plays
if this cup runs every season i shall know what to expect when I reach higher division

common ppl register your teams in the list

dont let me down after an initial warm welcome

I don't mind participating also but I have just 9 players U-21.
2008-06-05 10:26:31
you can then take part in U-24 cup
U-19 would be very small tournament it seems

I think a U-24 cup would be better, else too many adjustments in players and training must be made by the teams taking part.

only 3-4 teams have enough U-21 players
me,classicblues and slade can play it before the end of the cup(depends on when we are out of the cup, classicblues can go all the way as well)

after the cup we will start U-24 cup
high no. of teams will take part in this...
depending on the number of teams we shall play roundrobin format/straight knockout or league format

@De Generaal:It would be nice if you could field your team as well
We will know how far behind do we lag..........

I'm planning on selling my older B-strikers, so normally I can join the U-24 Cup.
But I'm also planning to continue the friendly India League, so we have to see how many weeks are available after my exit in the Dutch Cup.

I will search a candidate for a NSW as soon as the election is over (then we know the NT coaches of other countries).
