how many teams go into the 2nd round?best 4?

Just 2 teams progress directly and 4 of the best number 3's

I think India will finish fifth and if luck favors us may be fourth........

India-Belarus 1-3
Nearly a big upset, we were leading for a long time, missed a penalty-kick (also did they) and a lot of clear changes one on one with the keeper. Both teams a red card, after Uttam's sending of our defenders played terribly....

This is a very unfortunate result,we dominated the matches but luck with not with us,we missed 2 clear chances(except penalty) one by savdeep and one by Rachna.despites that we could have won if uttam not send off.

Before the match I thought we didn't stand a change, but I'm a bit disappointed after the match...
I think India did a great job and that is shown in Belarus team-appraisal ; that is a lot lower than in their matches of the last weeks.

with Belarus-Serbia:

Often your team marks drop, if you play a more dominant opponent.
Their 17 shots were mostly from long range, our chances were clearer in the first 3/4 of the match.

Nice Result against Cyprus but we stand a tough chance in next games as both NT Strikers are injured

Now, it will be a test of our bench strength.. the backup strikers have to put their hand up and take their opportunities....

Today the last match of the NT season against my home country the Netherlands.
The Dutch are playing with a "Community Friendly" team ; players from teams that won a prize in several polls the Dutch NT-crew had organized in the past season (my player Benjamin de Graaff is playing also).
Still a pretty tough squad to play against, I'm hoping to keep the loss for India as small as possible, then we will even rise in ranking points !
