Subject: NFL new season

Why you like Chelsea? Is it because of Roman and his bad habit of buying everyhthing?

I am a fan of attacking football even though i have played as a defender for most of my footballing career. After all somebody has to stand up and take the hit :):)

it also reflects in the team which i support (which is very obvious from my team name :):):))

It's good news about Drogba,but he seems to be quite lose and almost looks lazy.....he doesn't seem to be as good as he was 2 seasons ago.

Firstly nobody likes a team bcoz of the owner....that's like saying u like a country bcoz of its President.

Secondly I don't know why people have a problem with Chelsea buying big players.....the bigger the players,the better the chances of winning. Don't tell me that if u had a the money to buy the best players in Sokker u wouldn't. If people don't like the way Chelsea buys players then why do teams sell their players??How many big players has Chelsea bought this season??

Now alot of teams are doing the same.....Man City,Real Madrid,Barca to name a few.

As for ManU, they too have a good team and a great manager but the reason I hate them is bcoz they are too arrogant and snobbish and think no end of themselves, something like the australian cricket team. I would rather support a 2nd division club like Bury FC than ManU.

Money is always associated with chelsea. Now i just laughed off when someone speaks about money..
And for that arrogance.. Had anyone of you watched Fashion movie.. Thats what manu has arrogance they believe as attitude..

My point was different..... I remember Chelsea with Zola and Flo.... but they weren't many fans of the team back then... when Abramovich took over control of the team it became like a trend to be a support of the blues. The team bought many goods players and became the new Ream Madrid (Galacticos). They liked the team because of the players. I'm sure than many of those fans stopped watching Chelsea since Mourinho left the team and they stopped spending so much money.
In England I'm a supporter of Man Utd. I have admiration for the great L'Pool and I like Tottenham and they way they play (eventhough they were underachieving so far)
I still remember those epic battles between Chelsea and Barcelona (my favorite team) and I didn't like the attitude of that big mouth coach they had....! Chelsea is certainly among the best teams in the world but if they want to remain in that level they must add a couple of quality players like a Center Back and an additional striker. I admire Frankie and Terry

Before Abromowich takeover,Chelsea came 5th in EPL for 2 consecutive seasons & then when they came 4th, it was taken over.......

Terry & Lampard who are still best players in team have grown along with team....Its not they hv totally displaced their old squad.

And dont blame it on chelsea alone....blame it on EPL...England hv never produced world class talent & for success they bought players from outside.
MANU & LIVERPOOL both hv been sold & checkout investments & signings they hv made...Arsenal is only club not taken over & see what is happening with them....Money is everythng in Football

I agree that chelsea need a striker as Anelka doesn't goes along well but your doubt about Center back is baseless..
I believe Carvalho is the part of the team which is under recognised..
He has delivered whenever situation arises..
And wait for Essien..

To return as this time he would play at his favourite position and not right back..
Scolari has bring in the flare that was missing before this season has started..

I don't trust Carvlaho at all... I've watched him in many games and especially in NT games and I would feel unsecure if I was a Chelsea fan.

Essien is wasted when he's used as a defender. He is a great talent and one of the best defensive midfielders.

I don't blame Abromovich for taking over Chelsea or the Glazers for taking over Man Utd. I just don't like some ppl who became fans of Chelsea or Real just because their president had the economical ability to spend millions of pounds. Chelsea and Roman didn't spend their budget wisely at all.... they wasted enormous amounts of money for player who didn't worth it... for example Huth, Sinclair, Glen Johnson, Shevchenko (even though I really admire him but it was obvious that he couldn't play in PL in his 30's). The most recent example of that bad policy is Wright Phillips..."£21 million move to Stamford Bridge on 17 July 2005", " On 28 August 2008, he re-joined his former club Manchester City on a four year contract for an undisclosed fee, believed to be in the region of £8.5million"

Even hiring Avraam Grant was a mistake eventhough that dude is extremely like... btw his assistant Ten Kate is now coach on my favorite greek team (Panathinaikos F.C)

That's where u r wrong.....now that Scolari is manager,Chelsea is playing their best football ever....they're much more attacking and their fans have increased.

I think all Chelsea need is to improve the fitness of their players and another forward like Torres or Berbatov or Henry.
