I'm applying for the U21 India spot, in my thoughts that's the department where the future for India is determined. A lot of midfielders are coming through to the main squad, the focus next season will be on goalkeepers, defenders and strikers.

In close cooperation with the new to be elected NT manager, we will determine each week which U21 players are needed for the big NT or for the U21-team.

Also I'm planning to intensify the recruiting (and keeping hold of) new managers.
Tonnies can also play a great part in that with his knowledge of the game.

Last season with U21 we really produced some very fine results, which results in the current 14th place in the World..
I'm hoping this good run continues in the U21 WC qualifications.

Here is the reward for the exellent results of last season !

Chili and Lietuva are the clear favorites.
Hopefully we will be able to battle for place 3 with Ireland and Malaysia.

Based on our performance last season, I think we can compete for 2nd place.
However, I don't know if we have the kind of 21 yr olds we had last season. If we do, then we can definitely compete for 2nd.

The level of the team will drop quite a bit. I need to fit in 4 new midfielders, 2 defenders and 1 striker.
Lietuva has a very strong team and Chili (with 1242 managers !) is way out of reach.

La Sombra is running for NT coach, we decided to recruit a NT-scout who takes care of the complete NT database.
I'm hoping, if we manage to find a decent scout, to spend more time in helping new managers.

The job seems interesting

The function of scout mainly consists of keeping the NT database (around 125 players) up to date.
That means:
- receiving updates from managers and process that into the online database and Excel sheet (as backup of online database).
- update an Excel-sheet of all automatic updates of the online database.
- reminding managers to send updates of their players (U21: at least every month).
- report major changes in key-players to NT coaches.
- mailing a copy of the up to date Excel-database to the NT coaches every week.

He will try to make sure that La Sombra and myself can focus more on the games and tactics of NT and U21 NT matches.

This season we will play qualification matches for the World Cup.
The new U21 generation is a bit less talented then the current one, but our high position on the U21 ranking could deliver us a nice draw.....

As for the team I think that the attack is waeker than last season

Attack is weaker for sure, but midfield is a really big problem. Only 3 possible U21 players and they lack stamina....

With the aging of the players today it won't be a match with the golden generation after all....
Difficult to select a worthy U21 team now, hopefully the players have gained some stamina.
