Why did u buy him?

I'm going to sell him after the post-seasonal bonus so that I get profit when money flows into the market.

A recent player I bought for a paltry 2 lacs.I'm going to play him in friendlies.

good player after 1 season you will see the difference if he is talented. you are in right track.

Should I play him in the main team or just in friendlies? He should be solid in both pace and defending by the end of the next season.

If u have a match u expect to win easily like first few rounds of the cup or against bots then play him in main team and friendlies both. If u have a match u might lose like against better teams in the cup and league then atleast play him in the friendly that week.

He's even popped up in pace now.

Now you will see the deference. younger player give fast pop than old player most of the time. But you can not determine the talent within short period. At least 3 pop needed to determine the talent.

All u newbies should know that the next couple of weeks u should be training stamina.
As ur team will play only 1 match a week, if u will only be able to train max 11 players if u r training pace and 5 or less players if u r training something else. When u train stamina, all players, regardless of whether or not they play, will get stamina training. Hence this is the best and only time u should train stamina.

In case they have high stamina levels in their teams and play qualification matches, then perhaps they can train pace (because they can train 22 players in the week). If the plan is to train stamina only one week during preseason, then its better to train it the second week, because you dont rise the salary of the players (if you train stamina this week, then the value of the player with increase a lot because of that, and the salary update will occure right after that... if you train stamina the second week, the salary update will occure before stamina rises players value).

But as Hoddibaba said: MOST OF THE NEWBIES SHOULD TRAIN STAMINA THIS 2 WEEKS.

A decent stamina level is always above 'solid'.

And priyo (I know he is not a newbie, lol) should train stamina this week, because he wont need to do so the next one (because he will play the Champions Cup, and so will play 2 matches that week). I hope I dont meet him with my team there ;)

I will reply to him, but I cant understand what he means.

If he expects me to tell him how much money he can get, I think he has missunderstood my function as U21 NT manager. I can help him and give him some advice, but I can misslead him also. I can never be sure about the selling amount he is requiring me to tell: market is too volatile.

I don't know how much money u will get for him. His pace is good but his technique is too low and his striking is also ok. Hard to guess.
