Azerbayan is 6 points for us.
Panama must also be possible to get 6 points

Belarus is 6 places higher on the world ranking and they have good player. Maybe there is the challenge for India. :)

so India seems a third place hopeful???

In 9 out of 10 matches Belarus will be stronger, but who knows.....

3rd place doesn't seem like a reality unless we somehow manage a draw by playing really defensive.

Our last match against Nederland was better than the last time both teams met in a qualifying round.
Atleast this time we scored 2 goals.

I agree, De Generaal choose not to dig in and be trampeled. Now the match was more fun to watch.

What does the tactic "Gertjan Verbeek" mean?

That was my last tactic...
he was the coach of Feyenoord (one of the big teams in Holland , at least in the past) who was sacked last week because the players didnt want him anymore..
The hardcore supporters of Feyenoord didn't want him to leave , they blame the players for being too lazy.

Indeed, he is quite a character and doen't look and talk like the average coach. I am such a Feyenoord supporter and hated to see him being sacked. :)

Tomorrow the race starts......I cannot wait to see the match vs. belarus.

Our star-goalie Roberto Udayan is in a bot-team !
He still needs training , I will ask if someone of the SK-staff is able to put him on the TL.
