Subject: NFL Season 10

i have achieved what i wanted. To finish 4th so that i can play the cup with ease.. And i will try to give my best shot next week.. But i also think that the title race is down and dusted.. Congrats to all for another great season.. Though i think Rajput absence and Mayank banned has pushed us 2 steps back this season..

I must admit that I was surprised by my win against RKFC. Especially since my main winger this season was injured and out for next week also. I guess that showed in the match report where RKFC clearly dominated.
But to be fair, his main keeper was injured and had he been playing,the match would've probably been drawn.
As I need 1 more point to secure the double next Sunday, I might play it a bit safer.
Mithun touched upon Unsinkables injuring their main striker twice. All I have to say is that's the only reason why I never keep players beyond 27 yrs. That's also why I keep telling people not to buy players older than 25 yrs.
Anyway, it's been a rough season, in that we've lost a few managers. Hopefully things will pick up next season.
And it's nice to see the forum busy again.

Just wanted to add that there is a small contest going on in the bottom half as well....between 5, 6 and 7 places. Manu did extremely well against the Rajputs, maybe due to the absence of the manager. But we do have a close finish between the 3 teams as well. I also hope I can finish above my last seasons finish as the 7th ranked team.

But overall been a ok season for me, personally. Though I am still sad about people leaving and we missing active managers. That way not only the forums would become boring, but also the game would become uncompetitive.

Congratulations to Lagends for completing the double.... It has been an infallible season for him....

Congrats Lagends, really good show, congrats to every1 for another grueling season, Hope the next season remains as competitive as this one.

I think andy is coming up next season (correct me if i am wrong)... so hopefully he will make the league more interesting...
i also hope that Rajputs changes his mind and continues.... i hope he can spare a couple of hrs a week for sokker....

Thts gr8 atleast u will be in sokker, guess u were really badly beaten n bruised by every1, u do need some wins under ur belt, may be some wins like 8-0 will give u a boost, and come back as a winner.

The only titles worth looking at are the Fed Cup and the NFL. So on that account Priyo we're even.

Bhavesh that's good news. You're a big asset and we'd love to see u back in 2 seasons. A small tip - when buying players, buy someone who will be maximum 25 yrs. old when u get promoted back to the NFL. Also make sure that he is atleast as good as the current best player in that position. Buy a few good juniors also. Ask DeGeneraal to help u out with that, he has a good eye for them.

That means 2 new teams will come up next season. I'm relishing playing against Andy, always wondered what it would be like. I hope these teams will bring some new fresh tactics to the league.
As for East Bengal, I hope u've learnt something about tactics from all the maulings u received. No hard feelings.

As for 2day's match, I was really impressed by Chelsea's tactics. I never thought he'd go for a 3-2-3-2. It was a real see-saw match, kinda like the 2nd leg of the CHE-LIV match in the Champ's League.

Hopefully next season will be closer and more unexpected.

Chelsea match last week both against Liverpol and Asernal was great and ManU is out of the F.A. Cup..

Congrats to Lagends on winning the double. Hope we have a good season break and be back for the next season, and make it more competitive than this.

Also good to hear bhavesh is staying back, though taking a relegation. Even I think I would need some regrouping and some good players too. Thanks to Lagends for the tips, they should be useful to quite a few teams like mine.

Rajputs did not relegate... and no surprises in the other Play-off matches..

Finally i think he (Rajputs) has been able to get time on hand, this mite keep NFL up and running with 8 active managers... I am sure this will lead to a lot of competition for all the 8 spots....

Looking forward to another good season...

I think maybe he didn't get enough time to forfeit the match also by not naming a line -up.
Let's see, I hope he changed his mind.
