With a magical coach I had a magical Junior, now with an unearthly coach I expect 1 brilliant Junior, thats it....

After reading everyone's posts I guess I'm quite lucky.....hope it continues for a long time.

yeah...thats some realization

even i have a magical youth coach, maybe not as good as Priyo or Mihir's but overall magical nonetheless...but absolutely no luck with youths...

thats one thing i think which make SK more attractive to new teams, unlike BT and HT where older and of course well managed teams have a definite advantage, due to the nets/training sessions, etc.

A new team in SK can hit a goldmine with a good youth player, sell it and get some fortune like 300 Mill or so (like Unsinkables/ Chelsea did last season), and one can see the difference that makes to the team. So LUCK is certainly a commodity, though rare, but precious is SK.

I sometimes wonder how do people buy such dizzy players...300 mill, I in my SK tenure, am yet to cross 100 mill bank balance and my most expensive buy would be a max 75 mill, if I remember well.

Yes, but I would prefer if these 2 unearthly jrs. of mine were defenders so that I could train them, which I find more satisfying than just throwing money around.

Another factor I have to see when buying a player is his salary, coz I make a huge loss when my team plays away. With a combination of 1 home and 1 away match in the league, I make a profit of just about 2 mil in 2 weeks. Does anyone else have a similar problem??Could someone suggest a solution??

I think you are managing your team well if you make any profit over a 2 week period.

You want a defender.... You got it :):) Obviously will not b as good as your unearthly ones... but looks decent to me... after all he was an outstanding junior...

very good form, tragic tactical discipline

NTDB:
poor stamina hopeless keeper
very good pace excellent defender
tragic technique poor playmaker
adequate passing average striker

:S

If he had saved 1-2 levels of defence and a few from striker and those points were in tech and play he would be far better...

Thanks, atleast now I know I'm not doing too bad.

I recently upgraded my benches behind the goal to the same no. of seats with a roof. That way I hope to get more spectators throughout the season, without paying more for weekly stadium maintenance. I'm interested in knowing what everyone thinks of that.

I agree with Nikko. Also he should have a value in the range of 10 000 000 Rs.
To train someone in technique at this age especially if all your other players are decent in technique is quite pointless to me.

18 to 6 shots and we lost....
We have a striker problem in U21 it seems....
2009-01-23 18:29:43
May be you need a good Midfielder like Shaila, who can create more chances for the strikers :)

Pals...
I have put Shaila, my best youth, on sale...Talent 3.8 weeks. PLease see if you are interested

shibu anandkumar is alone,he needs atleast 1 ATT friend like him in the field to convert the chances into goals...
2009-01-23 18:49:43
Savio Ramchand played in U-21 and also he was in the reserve team of senior India .How it would be possible?...............
2009-01-23 18:59:20
he is U21 so its possible

Firstly, the finishing by our forwards was pathetic. Are they the best forwards we have at U21? I thought the passing was quite sublime. The forwards didn't make use of the brilliant through balls.

Also I think Malta's winger on the right hand flank gave them an edge as he was unmarked.

Noel Sathasivam hardly got to touch the ball. I think Ramchand was good enough to handle the central defense. Do we have another defender like Ramchand? If we do, then what about trying to put Ramchand in centre defense with 2 wing backs and put Noel Sathasivam in Kathiravan's place behind the Forwards? That way we can win most of the balls in central midfield where we lost out.
Atleast against similar opposition coz we'll need Sathasivam in defense against the bigger teams like spain, italy, poland etc.
