Still some very tough matches ahead.... First Bosnia who seem to come back in form, then Danmark who were way to strong in the first match and then on top of that Mexico. We have to look at it week by week.....
Like expected.... Bosnia was strong, although we missed an early penaltykick the 1-2 loss was justified.
And Danmark was way too strong. Their players were so much quicker and stronger in duels, lots has to do with quality and also with the great form the Danmark players are in. India just doesn't have the opportunity to select on form of the players, I am already glad if we are without injuries. This time we were missing an important defender and it really showed.

Almost another disaster against the Saudi's, trailing 0-2 at halftime..... The second half we turned things around, a fully deserved 4-2 victory which should have been even higher !
A very small chance of reaching the first two:
- Denmark has to lose against Albania today and Bosnia next week, which is very unlikely.
or
- Mexico has to lose with large numbers against Bosnia and next week to us. Also unlikely.
A 3rd place is my goal, Bosnia has two strong opponents, it can be possible.

Also a good start of the season for the big NT.
Higher ranked Canada had more off the ball, but our strikers were dangerous in the counterattack.
In the second half the Canadians were close to get a winner but we were lucky to be rewarded a penalty-kick. Can't complain with the 3-2 win !

Good job! .....now, any higher ranked opponents have to get scare to our strikers. We have a gr8 chance to qualify this season, if we beat Bosna i Hercegovina. But, we are now definitely underdog.
A goalless draw against Bosnia, rivals for the second place in the group, Our strikers waisted a lot of chances, but so did Bosnia, still not a bad result against a higher rated nation.
Good job! India has a big chance to qualify this season.
Since March 2007 I have been running either NT India or U21 India, but now I have decided to step down and apply for coach of NT Nederland, as no Dutch manager is going for that position.
With so much history in the Indian SK world, in the future I can't help myself following the NT matches and helping out to place promising players with the right coaches. So this is not a farewell ;)
