priyo I think we agree... I dont see where we differ in our view.

Jrs. in avi school may be old, but they are talented. If you get to see a Jr is talented, you shouldnt sack him... at least you can later train him yourself. But I prefare to keep younger ones as you say... but we dont have to make an option oftenly... there are training slots for all of them. Its hard to keep 30 decent jrs in the youth school.

OK Bartimaeus. Of course everybody has his own opinion. But I want you to check the facts.

I've been playing this game since 2005, that means this year it will be my 8th anniversary in Sokker. And I know the difference between a poor and a weak coach, between a formidable and an outstanding one, etc. ¿Why would differences between an unearthly coach and a magical one be greater than those?
There are no big differences between a brillant coach and a magical one.... so there shouldt be any great differences between a magical and an unearthly one.

BTW... if you have a brillant coach in Jr School and change it to a magical one, the only thing you can expect is to rise an extra level in a 30 week Jr, and only if Jr is VERY VERY talented.

¿So what will the difference be with an Unearthly coach?

nice players

As I suspected, Konda is hopeless in technique and playmaking so he requires alot of training in those 2 and not to many people train playmaking and technique. He can be a good player but it will take time.
Kodi on the other hand is a very good mid who could do with pace and passing training which lots of people train. He will be a much better player much sooner.

Panchoahead I didn't understand what u earlier said:because what makes avi jr school a great jr school is his permanent control of talent of players,.
2012-03-14 11:48:58
I mean that having a better coach wont make your players better....

The coach helps them train a little (very little) faster, but their talent keeps being the same... so if your juniors are not talented, even an unearthly coach wont help.

Avis Junior School is really a good one. As priyo said, he has lots of old juniors (being pulled with 20yo... and we all prefare to pull 18 yo or younger juniors) but the skill levels are really high, what means he cares about talent and he controls it. Its not about letting every junior reach week 0, but about discovering each junior talent, and if its more than 5, then sack him.

I don't think any of us keep players without any talent and let them reach week 0.
Basically I check if by training them all the way whether or not I can make up the cost of training them by selling them. It's simple business, your income should be more than expenses. That will only be possible if they're talented.

I also see the minimum expected skill level. I keep all 16 yr olds and keep the rest depending on the following:
17 yrs - solid
18 yrs - v.good
19 yrs - excellent if very talented, otherwise formidable
20 yrs - formidable if very talented, otherwise outstanding

Sometimes if the player doesn't live upto expectations after he's pulled from the jr school. These players might be sold at a loss, so what I do is train them if there is place in my team. They play in the friendlies so that my main players don't pick up unnecessary injuries. When I need the money I sell these players for a much better price.

So you do good Jr School management.

But if you are still wondering why avi Jr School is better, dont look the answer in his Jr Coach... definetelly thats not the reason. May be avi just had better luck than you.

I had that problem myself: had 4 or 5 juniors that were great, in 4 or 5 consecutive weeks. Later I may have 2 whole seasons without a single talented junior. And my Jr coach has always been magical.

But trust me: unless you plan and investment for the next 20 seasons, dont buy an unearthly coach for the junior school. Dont even do that for the first squad... unless you have so much money you dont know how to spend it.

Look I have that kind of school by luck or whatever maybe but I lost so much money in first 2 seasons with that unearthly coach. I can’t pull a formidable one in that 2 seasons. My loss in that 2 season is more than Rs.25 corror by junior school. But I hold with that coach. Till now my junior school is a loss making one. After this season I think I can recover my expenses.
Players Age: I go with the young. Never sack a 17 or 16 year (there is some exception). But if you don’t get any junior in that age for long time you have to keep the expected 18 and 19 years or may 20 years if they are talented.
I get more money when I sell 18 year unearthly junior Ravi Shamsher but same level with 19 year Farukh Keshavan I don’t get that much not even half the amount. So young pull is always better.
My strategy to keep juniors 50% young junior 50% talented juniors (if there age is high I have no prob).

i also agree usually we dont get junior with age 16-17 most of them or i should say 90% of them are 18,19 yrs old that is seriously huge problem
