Hoodibaba to All
This week Legendary knights didn't set a team so I got a walkover. Do my players still get training for this match?
He sold quite a few players last week. I sent him a mail but he hasn't read it as yet. Hope he isn't becoming a bot.

Ohhh! small detail!

I never saw the match... simply read what Hoodibaba said here (and I dont know who owns which team yet).

In case his opponent caused the walk over, players train as usual. Nothing to worry about.

I see I am the subject of concern here, in terms of causing teams to miss out on trainings. My sincere apologies to anyone, who may have got affected. Its absolutely not intentional.

As you may have noticed, I had effectively quit Sokker may be 3 or 4 seasons back (can't even remember that). Tried to get my interest back into the game, bought membership, tried couple of training regimes. Quite honestly, Avi too has tried his share to get me back into this game. But I just don't seem to be able to.

I do play Battrick as well (a cricket based game, on similar lines). If anyone is in there, my team (same name there), is ranked #4 in England (the most competitive country) and #15 in the world. All I am trying to say is that, I do spend time in these type of games but compared to others I have lost interest in Sokker and I don't know if I can get it back either.

But the fact of the matter is, as Hoodibaba indicated, I have pretty much sold up and sitting on a pile of cash. The most since I started. So true I can take a couple of relegation, build the team again and come back or be just a farm for the NT squad. Or just call it quits. Still undecided.

I do log in once in a while just to keep my account active but do not have the motivation to do anything else. Any inputs from the masters of this game would be gladly taken and respected.

One of my primary issues, is that the India Sokker scenario is way too stagnant. Even without putting an ounce of effort I have been in #7 of the NFL for the last couple of seasons. Its the same 5-6 clubs that I have been seeing at the top since Season 6. Avi being the latest addition, thanks to Priyo.

Moreover, I don't know how popular Sokker Manager is in India compared to other such games. I have my own thoughts, but would prefer to keep them to myself as of now.

Once again, sorry if I caused issues in your training plans. It was absolutely unintentional.

By the way, Hi to my old friends here:
De Generaal - been ages since we exchanged mails/ updates. I see you are still the NT coach. Get one of our desi boys to take over the reign from you, and give you a break for a couple of seasons. You truly have been a fabulous person for us in this game.
Priyo - You have my contacts in RL. Do keep in touch. Sob kemon cholche?
Mithun - Kya ho gaya. Kahan gayab hai? Chat pe ping karo kabhi. And congrats on your success here. Looks like you are the SK champ now. ;)
Avi - Thanks Mate for your words of encouragement.
Mihir, Hoodibaba - You two have been the champions in this game, in India. All the best to you as well.
Mayank - Tere se ek game to khela nahi jata. Abhi phir yahan kya kar raha hai?

I see we have also lost two very talented and regular clubs - Mumbai United and Manchester Indians. Was sorry to see that as well. But I am sure there are a lot of new managers coming up the ranks, that I don't know of. Best wishes to all of you.

Thanks for patiently reading this far...
Cheers,
Arunava

arunava, you didnt affect anybodies training: only yours.

If a team doesnt put at least 10 players in field, he looses the match and also weekly training, but doesnt affect rivals training, so dont worry about that.

Talking about your motivation, its absolutelly understandable... but Indian league will never improve if everybody does the same.
What I would suggest to you is to turn your team into a farm while you re-carge your motivation, and then come back.

Now there is a Champions Cup, so If Indian league is not enough for you, you can try and compete withe the rest of the worlds champions.

Anyway, good luck with whatever you decide.
