Subject: Indian Newbies League

In order to make playing Sokker more interesting for new users I've decided to arrange an unofficial tournament for newbies called the Indian Newbies League. The teams that I'm planning to stage for this tournament are:

Black Bull
Mohun Bagan Mariners
FC Esteghal
East Bengal Knights
harsh killers
Pune FC


Rules:

1)The matches of this tourney will obviously be played on Wednesdays.
2)The matches will played at the grounds of teams which have larger stadiums.
3)Each team will play 5 matches i.e. Round Robin format
4)Top 2 teams will play finals.
5)Fixtures and Results will be shown in this forum.
6)If any team has any doubt u can ask me in this forum.

If any teams want to change any rules they can post it in this forum.
Experienced users can also send suggestions.
If there are any other teams that I haven't included plz inform me.

This tournament will also encourage forum participation for new teams.
I hope this tournament will be successful and I sincerely hope all teams enjoy this tourney.

Yes I'll start tourney after Fed Cup.

I've sent mails to all clubs which I wish would participate in the Indian Newbies League. I'm waiting for their replies. Will update the forum after more developments. I hope all the team will participate.

Unfortunately, the owner of the East Bengal Knights club anibhat has quit the game of Sokker. So there will be 1 team less. That leaves 1 free slot.

Thank u Harshvardhan, gsanjeev, Sir Saeid, rajashah for all your support participation and positive response. I also thank avi as I first asked him whether this kind of a league will be a good idea. The tourney will start next Wednesday i.e next week. This forum is also open to discussion about matches of the league so we can freely analyse the tactics after games. This will also improve our clubs. I will update next time who will play who i.e. fixtures. One question also: Should we play with 5 teams? I think 5 teams is good but I want your votes. U can vote in the forum or SK mail me.

Also I will use the usual point system in Sokker.
Win- 3 points Draw-1 point Loss- 0 point

I just checked stadium capacity of each player. These are the stadium capacities available:
Black Bull- 21000 seats
Mohun Bagan Mariners- 12000 seats
FC Esteghal- 9500 seats
Pune FC- 5900 seats
harsh killers- 4800 seats

Home or away matches will be decided on the stadium capacity. For example if it's a match between MBM and Black Bull then the match will be played in Black Bull Arena as Black Bull have more seats available.
