Wiki to All
Hi everyone,

I've decided to give my candidature an a NT coach of India.

I'm playing Sokker from 2006. After last 6 seasons I'm stepping down from Singapore NT coach position and I'm looking for a new challenge.

As I see India never advanced to World Cup, so my main goal must be obvious - advancing to World Cup. I almost made it with little country like Singapore, loosing promotion by goal difference only two seasons ago. I've also picked up Sigapore in ranking to +/- 60th place (from 80th).

India seems to be stronger than Singapore, many more active users is here, so chances to acheieve such goal are much bigger. To be honest - I'm not very tactician kind, I'm a builder type at first. Therefore I will build strongest as possible team first, time for tactics will come after that. Friendlies season is coming. It's a best area for scouting and for selection players to fit them at their best positions.

Very important thing is good cooperation with U-21 coach. As I see priyo is active coach, that's good. I'm active as well, so I promise - we will talk a lot:). I hope he will start for next election. I will find and agree to cooperation the best people for NT staff – advisors and scouts. I hope that people eager to cooperate I will find here in India, but I will also encourage experienced managers from other countries. Anyone who is willing and has time to cooperate with national team, will find a place for himself in my NT team.

I encourage you to vote for me, and if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask.

Yes, I know you're vastly experienced and India needs coach like you. now, I've few questions,

1) what is your primary goal ?

2)India has a stronger team, this season India played some good game, but unfortunately not to qualify, how will you built India to qualify next WC?

3)What is the main problem that India can not move the rankings ?

4)How do we assist you to built our NT?

5)How much active managers do you know from India?

ad.1) I already wrote about my primary goal - advancing to World Cup.

I'm aware it will be not easy to acomplish. I'm not promissing you "we will advance, no doubt!". But I can promiss I will do everything what I can do to make it possible.

Many things can affect way to advance: very strong qualifiacations group, injuries and/or red cards in most important matches, poor form of key players, match engine (bad luck). I've been there...
Finally, match tactic can be failed, we are not Gods to predict everything what may happen. I'll do my best to avoid mistakes of course.

ad.2) India was in very hard group this season. France - out of range, Canada and Bosna i Hercegovina both playing about 80 - teams strong like a hell. 4th place is not surprising for me under this circumstances.

I will put attention on proper selection and on positioning players on the pitch. Yes, I know it sounds funny a little, but it worked in Singapore NT. Almost same team who played at 60, after small changes and season of friendly matches to test players starts play at 70+.

Second key-thing is tactic. As I wrote I'm not very tactician kind. I mean I don't like change tactics every match. After revieving and testing available players I'm making two universal tactics for them and using it in most matches, using mirrors, with slight adjustments of course, depending of rival (defenders and strikers line). It works in most cases.
It doesn't mean I'll never use different tactic. When it will be nescessary I'll think about it. Teams with power like India shouldn't play very offensive against stronger rivals, so my main tactics are defensive rather, but not extremally defensive.

ad.3) See above :)
I'm not a fan of NT ranking by the way. Main goal is most important than few ranking points. If I must loose some games to test players or tactics - I'll do it. Qualification is earned at the pitch, not thanks to NT ranking.

ad.4) Everything is starting from U-21. Future NT stars are there. Most important thing is to have good U-21 manager who can select promissing youngsters, encourage owners to train them by the book.

Native users should promote youngsters from academies, most tallented of them should be reported to U-21 coach. Here I must say another important thing to everyone - don't keep promissing youngsters when you can't train them! F.ex. if you train defenders - don't keep strikers. Better way is to sell such player to team where he can be trained properly. Here is U-21 coach job, to help find good place for most promissing youngsters training. I believe most of you know about it very well , but I've learned from experience that this is not so obvious for everyone.

Another thing is updating players in database after every jumped skill. I'm always asking owners about update when nescessary, but doing it without pressure from NT coach is easier:)

I wish to have active scout in NT staff to help find and update players. I hope one of you is willing to take this position.

Also big help will be discussion on forum about both NTs. I'm always open for suggestions, comments etc. I count on it.

ad.5) I need to be honest with you - no one yet except you:) But I hope it will change. I see people posting their players. It's a start. Maybe some of them will write more here on forum? I'm always creating special topic about NT where I'm posting NT news, match reports, my plans. It is a place for discussion on every subject about NT. I must say in Singapore I talked to myself in most cases, but I hope community in India will be more active.

What a long post! I need to rest a while now:)

I am backing the candidature of Wiki, in my eyes he is a capable and serious manager, able to do the job with a history of being coach of another NT.

Thanks for your support!

I can promiss - I'm always devoted and I'm trying to do my job seriously. It is not just a simple fun for me only, it's a mission. I hope Indian users will trust me.

I'm not planning to start elsewhere at last minute if no one will vote on me. I've choosed India because I believe here is a good place to work with promissing NT.
