After a comfortable 2-0 lead, they came back with to level it but our team maintained their cool and scored the winning goal, with a very good contribution from Subbarayan. Nanga couldn't make an impact in this game and it was Saripella with his on-target headers that won us the game, thanks to very good crosses from Saidullah.
We'll face our rival Indonesia in the semi final now.

How do you see the chances of getting to the World Cup?

I think it's a really good chance. We can beat Denmark and I'm sure we can atleast get a draw in 1 match against Germany.

Ou r target this season should be to qualify for the next round as well as finish with atleast 2000 ranking points.

Good win over Indonesia in the last week, chance for us to keep the Asian Cup with us!

Yes, this group gives hope for promotion. We come to Germany for the third time in a row. That's good because we always play well with them. Denmark ... it can be difficult here. The last match with them showed that they are strong. However, I do believe in our team. We are developing year by year and our game looks better. The aim for this season is a historic qualify to the World Cup!

Amazing game, Saripella scoring a hat-trick and 27 yo Subbarayan too scoring a goal in the final of the Asian Cup. Two Asian Cup wins in a row is no small achievement. Inspite of the lesser number of users, we are Asian champions! Saripella should be given the man of the tournament.
