I understand you perfectly. I am very impressed with what you are doing for National team. You deliver outstanding defenders every year. If there were two more managers to take care of the midfielders and strikers, it would be great.

I see you are not training any Indian players. Is there a reason for this? Don't you think it would be better if you coached an Indian player too?

I don't understand why you are attacking me. Sure I could train and I would like to do it. Only this is not a problem with representation! The supply of players by local managers is crucial. If there are several managers in a given country, there are no good players. It's natural. Only a few will reach the representative level. And it doesn't matter if I train them or anyone else. Do you train juniors from India? So why is this representation ranked so low? The role of the national team coach is to arrange the players so that they achieve good results. Results better than the players' level would indicate that.

I asked you earlier because I’ve seen before that you have a problem with not having a good enough number of players for the national team. In my opinion, for a small sokker country like India, it is only natural that there are few players in Sokker. Our job as NT or U21coach is (also) to try to develop these few players to the right level.

What we can do is set up the teams best and know the capabilities of the players we have. In recent years, despite the huge difference in value, we managed to win with the German national team! We regularly play on an equal footing with them. This is what our work is all about.

Our job is also about trying to do everything we can to ensure that those very few Indian players get the right training and maximum development opportunity. You don't care who trains them. But I see that too many players end up on a team where they don’t get a chance to develope because they don’t play matches. That would be if we didn’t pay attention to who is coaching the players. I agree to this. Our U21 team has grown tremendously because of the well directed training given to mids by Bonanza, attackers by Attila, defenders by Hoodibaba and Akito, goalkeepers by Stevens and general pace training by myself. It's not a coincidence that we had a strong previous season even with our U20 players.

It is nice that you are developing your pupils. The effects of this work will be in the senior representation in a few years.

I noticed that Manjit Pavan who is our best 22y hasn't played games for his club since the past 2 months. Can you mail the owner of the club and ask him to sell him? I too have mailed him. Also, if we want a strong future NT, we need to track if players are getting games or not or otherwise they'll be wasted.
