Hi All,
I'm a returning user but I've forgot many things. Although I have returned to the game, I may not be able to devote as much time as I used to give previously.
Questions:
1) How to arrange friendlies?
2) If I want to recruit a coach that is unearthly in stamina, should I use transfers or should I just recruit the coach using the skills recruitment option. I checked in transfers and the bids are insanely high whereas if I use skills recruitment option, the cost is Rs262 500 if I just look for unearthly in stamina.
3) Also, should I keep the current assistant coaches that I have or should I sack them. I know that one head coach is necessary but what about assistant coaches?
4) What's the meaning of these statements?
A player who played in the same position (ie, as a def) twice during the week will train better than one who played in only one game. Similarly, a player who played in an official match will train better than one who just played in a friendly. If a player played in two different positions during the week, the last match counts. The benefit of playing a player with the same match order twice is small - they will receive near full training by playing 1 match. If they play only in an international, they will receive around 50% of the normal training. Players do not receive training in extra time as they are too tired.
The differences in training effectiveness resulting from player’s appearances during the week are small. A player who played in one friendly only, will have only slightly less effective training than the one from the first team line-up. The difference is even smaller for a player that played in two games instead of just one.
Some statements in the above two paragraphs looked contradictory. For example, this: 'A player who played in the same position (ie, as a def) twice during the week will train better than one who played in only one game. Similarly, a player who played in an official match will train better than one who just played in a friendly. ' and this: 'The differences in training effectiveness resulting from player’s appearances during the week are small. A player who played in one friendly only, will have only slightly less effective training than the one from the first team line-up.' These two look a bit contradictory. Can anyone explain?

Hi,
Answers:
1. Go to page of any club you want to play with, and use link "invite for friendly" (or something like that, I don't know how exactly it is written in english version), then pick options you want (arcade, friendly) and day.
or
Go to the office, then go to "friendlies" link and pick one of possibilities. You can look at other player's invitations, pick and accept. You can also state your announcement about friendly there and wait for response.
2. It's up to you. There are no good tips about this. You can risk recruiting, maybe you score at first shot, maybe at 91st to find your perfect coach. If you don't want play risky, you can use transfers.
3. You must have your first coach and junior coach at possible highest levels both. Junior coach must have high general skill only, secondary skills are irrelevant.
About assistants: I prefer 3 assistants at maximum possible level. Their secondary skills are irrelevant also, but I've heard many different opinions about this, so feel free to find best way on your own.
4. Differences between friendly and official are not so big, but they are.
Let's say official match gives you 1, friendly gives you 0,75.
Player play official only - he gain 1
Player play friendly only - he gain 0,75
Player play official and friendly. He gain 1,75, wow! No, no, no:) He gain 1,2 or something like that.
Numbers above are just for explanation. Real values are different.

Thanks a lot for clearing my doubts.
Also, should I open a junior school now? And I think there is a software to track players progress. Can you tell about that as well?

Open your junior school at once.
In country with small number of users like India, almost every junior can play in U-21 national team. Transfer values are relatively high comparing to countries with many users.
So you can expect a lot of money from training and transfering your youngsters. There are some softwares tracking progress, but having Plus will suffice in my opinion.
I don't know much about additional software, so you must wait for someone who can reccomend best of it.

Ok, I'll keep space for at most 16 juniors. So what minimum level of coach should I hire for junior school? And if I open junior school, should I have 1 head coach, 3 assistant coaches and 1 junior coach?

About coach you recruited. I must sadly say - fire him. His general skill is to weak. General coach must be best of the bests.
When you are recruiting, mark evey skill at max level, except keeping (if you don't want train keepers), keeping you may mark as formidable or so
That kind of recruiting is expensive, but give you best chance to draft perfect first coach.

Yes, you MUST have:
First coach
Junior coach
If you don't have money for good assistants, take no one or those you can afford. You can hire better assistants later, when your account balance let you do this.

I hired the coach Deepak Payal as I was planning to train stamina for the first 2-3 weeks. Later, I'm planning to train pace/defence.
If I hire a really good coach, his wages would be too high and I may be unable to pay the wages.
For youth coach, what should be the overall level of coach? Is overall level of say 'formidable' ok?

I got this coach in transfers. Should I keep him as junior school coach?
Romuald Tybora, age: 43
wage: 957 500 Rs.
country: Polska,
outstanding coach
Training effectiveness as head coach:
brilliant of stamina incredible of keeper
very good of pace formidable of defender
brilliant of technique incredible of playmaker
incredible of passing formidable of striker
I had read that the coach should be unearthly in what you are training currently. That's why I kept Deepak Payal as head coach as he was unearthly in stamina and I was training stamina.

Try to make your first coach universal for every kind of training you want to train now and in future. Changing coach every time you change type of training is more expensive in long term. Pay one time for one universal coach and that's it.
Junior coach must have overall skill high only. But you can use different strategy - recruit two coaches with same high overal skills, but with differents secondary skills and make changes between coaching juniors and seniors, depending what type of training you train at the moment.
Iex: two coaches with overall magical skill. One of them have unearthly stamina, pace and passing, second one have unearthly tech, playmaking and tackling.
This week you want train stamina - set for first coach this guy with uneartthly stamina, and second guy go to juniors.
Next week you want train playmaking - set second guy to be first coach, and the first one going to juniors then

If you are not wealthy enough, he can be junior coach for now. In long term he is more fit to be an assistant

I just joined the game 2 days ago so I guess I'm not wealthy enough yet hehe. I'll see how the wages look like at the end of this week and will take the call then.
Sure, explore and ask if you need any advice.
One more thing about junior school.
Maximum number of juniors who may join your team is 6 per week. There is no point to keep more free places in academy than 6. You must pay for every place.
You have currently 5 juniors in academy - set places to 11 (you have 6 free places then)
You have 8 juniors - set places to 14
etc

What's the advantage of an away friendly? Shouldn't we try to keep friendlies at home to get money from tickets?
