Subject: Sokker Game Discussion/Doubts
Actually if a new team in Poland/Romania/Italy got what the India sides got, then yes, then it still wouldn't take a long time, because other new teams would join them, and they would all increase based on skill, not handouts.
Then when one gets the autopromotion, or beats bots to move up, they will still be getting more than the Indian team because they will get more in gate receipts.
The thing is, when we all share the same transfer market, when we have NT matches and there's the champions cup, then everyone needs to have a chance, or else the competition is pointless, it its unfair when a team that has been around a small league for years, gets regularly outbid by polish managers who have been around for months.
Also when this occurs, there is very little incentive for the big one or two clubs in small nation to stick around to help new teams out. This is because they are destroying their leagues, but getting less and less sponsorship and gate intake because of new teams coming and going. But at the same time, they cannot compete with big nations because they get paid so much less.
And finally, if Honduras got the same SPONSORSHIP as Polish/Romania/Italy, they still wouldn't beat them very easily, because they get a lot less in gate intake because their competition has a lot less supporters (less pressure to get to the top, means smaller and newer teams make it, which means less members and therefore less gate takings), so the small nation is still disadvantaged, but the disadvantage isn't written in to the code of the base salary. All evening out the sponsorship would do is reduce the disadvantage for small nations, not remove it.
And what do you mean about being able to use 2nds to win the league? Even the best teams in small nations can't use 2nds to win their national league, and using 1sts in your league match, doesn't mean you can't use 1sts in the Champions Cup. Most people use 1sts in both, so it literally makes no difference that argument

Ok, I see you got some kind of paper straight from God with confirmation about the dogma of infallibility:) I can't be equal, I haven't got same paper, experience is my only asset, so the only thing I can is to say - you are absolutely right. World is so unfair.
In such awful world many people want to play games where winning is granted. Better than this - winning must come at once. To do this games should be coded in possible best way. Best for them of course. Maybe new owners taking this into serious consideration and they make new code suitted for such expectations.
You see how easy is to convince me?:)
Winning for all must be granted!!! No more years to make team strong!!! No more planning, gathering and making other stupid things!!!! We are the people, we are the winners!!! We demand god mode for all!!!
Now we can smoothly jump to another topic:)

So your retort is to try and say I'm saying we should all be winning, yet your excuse for why Poland new players get paid more is so they don't have to spend time growing like the rest of us, and need to be equal with their competition straight away? It's like you tried to retort your own reasoning.
All I am asking for is that coding be fair regardless of where you are from, and that people good at the game can be the best on their own merit, regardless of which country they play in. Unlike now where to be rewarded you must first be in a big country, and then 2nd be good at the game.

There is 1, maybe 2 teams in Aus that could win the CC, but to do that, they would use their entire savings from 15yrs (yes years not seasons), of playing sokker, and would not be able to recover from it.
This is what happened for the Luxomberg player who won, he used all his money in the season or so leading up to it to buy the team to win, won, then disappeared and went bot.
But no team from a small nation could win it unless they have 15yrs of savings, and then it would still cripple them financially as they would need to have sold off all trainees and bought all very old.
That's as good as saying that you have a 0.1% outside chance to win the Champions Cup after you spend 15 years into the game whereas for bigger countries they don't need to invest as much time and money to get the same Cup. I'm sure there might have been some kind of luck involved in his win as well. Also, he might be the only one from a small country to win the Champions Cup. Sadly, now there's just 1 user left in Luxembourg.

I think this could also be the main reason why the DEVs are vacillating in implementing the Champions League because they know that the league will be heavily tilted in favor for the teams from big countries. Also, the same thing will occur when they implement some other sort of a cross-country tournament.
One more point and I think you've mentioned this previously, what benefit does a new user from a big country get when he gets paid more when all others in his league too get paid more. Simple mathematics. Shouldn't it be something like everyone gets paid the same small amount that small countries get paid because anyway the result would be the same? But of course atleast that will add some equality to the game when you share the same transfer market as big countries.

Spot on mate. It's a silly argument many large country users have tried to make.
Also to put in perspective my "1 maybe 2" from Aus could. There are literally hundreds who could do it within the game if they wanted, because they have the money. But most of those hundreds could financially recover from doing it, neither of the 2 Aus ones could.
I'm just hoping for a small country merge some time soon, because although it won't fix the coding, it will still fix the inequality. It will also give us more competition moving forward so it is a win for everyone (and it doesn't affect large nations).

Yeah, we can just hope that the DEVs merge the small countries at the earliest. For all the talk about sponsorship and money in the other thread, people are just not realizing the crux of this game, or of any game for that matter. And that is competition. For users from small countries, there's just no competition. I mean, I really want to go through the emotion of going for that last nail-biting finish to top the group and get promoted or simply getting that last game draw to avoid getting relegated. But how? Some people were also saying that you don't have to worry about relegation and that you remain in the top division without any effort but they don't realise that that itself is a big problem. Who would like to play a game where you are always the winner?
Personally, I'm in this game because of the Youth System and NT games. If that wasn't there, I wouldn't even have stayed a week. But that's just me. Other users might find the NT and junior stuff boring and they might in all probability leave the game within a week as for them, competition is more important than NT and junior stuff. It's essentially each individual's liking. And that's what DEVs should think about. If they keep the game top notch from all angles, you'll see more and more users even in smaller countries. And that's where merging of leagues for the smaller countries comes in. And yeah, the sponsorship gets solved as well. Two birds in one stone.

Yup spot on mate. I understand why they coded it how they did, but it is an idea that has failed miserably, because the game is not big enough. If every country had 100 users, it wouldn't actually be an issue.
Merging is the big thing that would fix many issues in one change.
And the reason the others bring it up is because they have no good reason why they should just automatically get paid more. They try and change the topic.
Seriously, if I wanted to join a game that I was the best at in my country, there are another 100 failing management games going I could join. You play games for competition, you join them to grow. And growth only feels good when you had to work for it (except for narcissistic people who would prefer to win with any advantage over possibly losing with good competition)

If we are playing 3 matches in a week now, is it possible to train 15 instead of 10 players?
For all Indian users, you can schedule a friendly for this Sunday as well. This will ensure both the 1st and 2nd squad get the required training. Ideally, one of these last two weeks should be reserved for stamina training.
I've published an ad for friendly this Sunday for an away game if anyone's interested. Just send me the invite and I'll accept.
