I don't know is updated since I step down many seasons ago.

Not every manager wish to share skills with NT. Many of them even don't answer on sk@. They don't want upadte players in database. Main reason is to avoid injuries in NT matches.

TES to Wiki
Yes you are right.
NT DB Is weak because managers don't share info. I wrote them but I'm still waiting for answer.

I have analysed matches and took decisions. Line up is ok... you will see chances, I hope in the right way!

Great to see you opening with a winning debut. To be honest, it was a lucky goal but a goal nevertheless.

We saw as many as 6 players being handed their debuts today (Muthukumar, Koppale, Bhatti, Vikul, Vasumati, Konkar). That was a good to see as well. Just checked all these players and noticed that Vasumati is on TL so if anyone is planning to train mid, they can bid for him. Another interesting thing that I noticed was that Vikul and Konkar are from the Wydad Casablanca club of India which has an obsolete user. Just wanted to ask @TES about how he came across these players and whether he knows the skillset of these players. Also, since we can never know what training is being provided to those players or even if they are being trained or not, is it really necessary to give them games since we can never expect much from them in the long run? Also, are we having a dearth of forwards since Konkar was pretty much toothless throughout the game except for that 1 lucky goal and that too I might attribute to the mistake of the Senegal goalie.

Coming to the tactics, it's actually funny to see just 3 defenders in the report but 5 defenders in the actual game. Don't know how that happens but regardless, the defense was pretty much rock solid. As I have mentioned previously, Konkar did't have much impact as a forward and might need to be replaced in the next games. He didn't have good pace nor did he have good technique. Vikul came in too late and hardly got the ball when he came in. Except Konkar, all debutants were decent enough(again tough to analyse Vikul). I think Sundaramoorthy must be given a more attacking position as he has decent pace. Also, somewhere around the past 75 mark, I saw Vikul changing positions and coming to the right instead of left at certain points of time. Was that deliberate or a minor mistake in the tactics? Think I saw the same with Sundaramoorthy as well.

Hi KautukP, your analysis is very professional and I appreciated it a lot.
That was a really lucky goal but the choice to change tattic was wise: in the end of match I move Konkar to the right, so he was in the right position to shoot.

6 players added, yes. I seek players everywhere even abroad or in lower divisions.
India has only 5 "living" managers and we fight against NT with huges DB, I need to do experiments.
I know skills of these players: Shibu Sivasubramaniam-Akbar Lanka-Lanel Zev-Nikhil Nikhil-Ajayan Nachiik-Tushar Vasumati-Kishore Muthukumar-Senthil Munusamy-Kashi Vyshali-Rajat Saravati.
There are no forwards here, the only one that could be is Zev but he is also an important defender...
I noticed Vinkul-Konkar-Sundaramoorthy are forwards with good marks in their clubs and I gave them a chance, It's nececcasary to give them at least a game to understand if usefull or not.
Konkar scored but I don't like him, Vinkul needs more time and Sundaramoorthy will be confirmed.
Let me talk about the very game of Vasumati, I'm very proud of descovering him and hope he will be buought and trained in the right way... midfield pillar!
Good work for others, ufortunally Nikhil loose power in second half and I don't understand why... stamina and form are ok. maybe next match will be substituted.

Tactics:
Yes, you got it! Defenders on the wings can play in the midfiled, but helps a lot the other 3 defenders near of the GK.
Sundarmoorthy played as forward on the left near Nachik (mid), when Vikul came in we had two forwards in front of the GK and Nachik was behind them to help. Vikul was very agressive on the ball, sometimes this pushes him on the right to help the slepping Konkar.

Next opponent is Scotland, I saw them against Italy... they are very good: Italy won but Scotland hit two posts. This will be a trial by fire, I see a chance to face their strong 2 mid with our 4 mid... I hope this could help in counter attacks.

Your tactics were great. If not for Konkar as a forward, the difference would have been of 3 goals. Agreed, I really loved Vasumati's pace. His passing could have been more accurate but he is just 'good' in passing right now. Hopefully, in the next few weeks he will improve on that skill.

Good innovative thinking when you discovered players even from obsolete clubs. Scotland is a strong team (ranked 29) so even a draw against them would be like a win. Although, realistically even a loss by 1-2 goals is ok.

Hi guys, a defeat against Scotland… but not so bad, wasnt't it?
The good news is that Vinkul could be our striker, good goal and good team's movements in that situation.
Unfortunately Scotland won every tackle and it was impossible to counter attack… but I understood we could play wider and I'll make some changes against Honuduras (friendly) and Italy (monster team).
I'm thinking about Sundaramoorthy and Vasumati as fast wings in order to push the team forward (in the middle they are often stopped). This could be dangerous… but I have to find new solutions. Only the brave….

Had my hopes up when we took the lead that maybe we can squeeze out a draw but yeah a decent result.

Honestly, Vikul looked very similar to Konkar and just like him he got that lucky goal:P . He is pace is too slow and a good opposition defender can easily tackle him.
Of course if we don't have any other option, we have to persist with him. Let's hope we get a really good striker from someone's junior school this season. I'm hoping to get a 'very good' 18yo junior in the next 6 weeks. I know it's not much but he would be my best junior till now. The good news is that this week I got plenty of decent juniors from whom we can hopes in the next season.

The game against Italy is a foregone conclusion but we have something to play for against Honduras. Yeah you can try different tactics as after all, these are friendly games.

Vikul fought against Scotland defence, they are really better than Senegal (so he had an harder work than Konkar). I like very much the goal, well built and finalized that makes me think positive (while the goal of Konkar against Senegal was a GK mistake). This is the reason why I think Vikul could be our striker (he scores 39 goals in 58 matches and I can't find a better one)
Even if I'm still wainting for good news from junior schools…
I really need Zev as a defender, he is one of the best in the team… but I think I will try him as a striker sooner or later…

You will see some changes against Honduras.
I will give a rest to some important players in order to try Others unknown.
Tactic changes as well, now wings play wider and I try to force central mid (very talls) in the opponent area during corner kicks.
Let's go and see ;)

Yeah, Scotland was definitely a stronger side as compared to Senegal so it would be better to reserve our opinion until the game against Honduras. I too loved his goal. Nice set-piece.

Both Vikul and Konkar will be playing against my club this Wednesday so it will be interesting to see how they play against my defence.

I personally think it's better to have a weak defender than to have a weak striker. Defenders are plenty but strikers are rare. So if you think Zev is even slightly better than Vikul as a striker, then by all means use Zev as a forward. But for now, let's wait and see how Vikul perfroms against Honduras and other moderate teams.

I think you are talking about Nikhil and Bhatti here hehe. Yes, they can score that surprise header goal. Also came across Zev's height and found that he is 160cm! That's the shortest SK player I've seen.

This seasonI have 3 17 yr olds (solid-excellent) and 2 19 yr olds (incredible-magical) that will get pulled from jr. school.
2020-06-09 07:58:01
Nice. I will be posting current status of my junior school this Thursday.

Good news form jr schools then.... you're welcome and I hope other manager will follow your path.

Against Honduras I will try Zev as a striker, hope defence will not collapse...

Ciao

You can also recruit these players from the MINDHUNTERS club if you haven't looked at them already:

1) Kashi Chohan
2) Mahendra Vyapari

Hmmm.... I noticed them but they have bad form and tactical discipline. The first plays with low marks and the second is somewhere forgotten....

MINDHUNTERS has some interesting players but he does not respond to my skmail and I don't know their skills :(

Yeah, I had noticed that too.
