We don't know anything aobout player's talent from Mindhunter. We must try them first in our clubs if it is possible. I can take all of them to check talent. 2 full jumps are reqiured to be sure. Some of the may be worthless in long term....

Lavanya and Shilpa bought.

My coaching staff is almost at max power (1 unearthly and 4xmag coaches) so players will receive optimal training. On wednesdays of course. My first lineup is little much stronger:)

When we get fabulous juniors that should be trained as mids, since we don't have any manager training mids, it's best to sell them.
They will be so expensive that only managers willing to train them will pick them up. So no need to worry to much on that score.

@KautukP thanks for taking so much interest in the NT. I also used to take a lot of interest, but nowadays with the lockdown, managing 2 babies @ home & running a business I don't have any time for that. But don't worry I will keep supplying the NT with amazing juniors.

You certainly have a knack of rolling out great juniors for Indian NT and it wouldn't be too wrong to say that our NT is run by the juniors of Lagends FC.

I wouldn't have been so active hadn't it been for Corona since I deferred my Masters (CS in USA) Fall admit to the Spring Semester (because consulates in India were closed). So I'll be having sufficient time till end of December this year. After that in Jan, I might get too busy to give as much time to Sokker as I give now as my studies will start.

Good news mate. Even my objective is to have magical skill of all of my coaches but it's going to take some time to reach that situation.

I'm back, after a few days on holidays in Val d'Aosta in northern Italy, far from home and very far from India.
I took my time to see last match against Senegal, of course I'm very disappointed 'cos I think we have to win this kind of matches. We missed Zev and Naini this time, but I hoped things were not so bad. I was worried about Bertolot... well he scored 2 goals although I put our best players on his side. I need to think about it... maybe 5 in defence is the key for everything (even if against Senegal I thought it was out time to lead the game and see our attacking movements).
We had some good moments but I am so angry to see how midfielders play the ball backward instead of push forward and lights up our strikers... probably a lack of playmaker.

Now let me talk about the whole season and future objectives.
I started my first season as a NT manager without a real DB of players.
This was a problem for me because previous matches were not useful to understand how was the better way of play and wich players I could trust for.

Next match will be a test for future line up, as I already said we are going to loose important players (over 21) but we have a wider DB now. KautukP and Hoodibaba have been very important managers and they supported a lot my work. Wiki too have been precious with his advices. Unfortunately I had to find out players from lower divisions and from abroad. Sometimes I had good intuitions, I had to try, see and change and learn from mistakes because I had most players with blind skills and values or marks after match often were not true indicators.
I started with my tactics but soon I changed them with others brand new designed in order to use players in a better way.
Things were going well 'till Scotland's heavy defeat and Senegal unexpected 0-2.

We finish 5th in group J with 4 points. Personally I think that we missed points against Sakartvelo and Senegal and our general rank should be better then.

New season will starts with a defined DB.
Now main players are discovered and trained, skills are shown and we can count on alternatives in every role. I think I made an important work about it.
I would be happy to manage India u21 next season because I really want to make the difference and climb up ranking positions. Of course this is a long term program, we need time to build up and grow together.

Soon I will post a list of players and their role in order to evaluate them and understand what's their best training.
I won't consider players with stamina less then 2 even if there are some with important skills.
Form is also key, unfortunately there is nothing we can do about it but my personal experience tells me bad form equals bad play so I prefer players with better form even if not top skill.

I'm back, after a few days on holidays in Val d'Aosta in northern Italy, far from home and very far from India.
Hope you had a good time. I'm a little envious since here in Pune, there are a lot of restrictions due to COVID and we have to take special signed certificates if we want to travel out of the city so travelling for trips is out of the question.

Now let me talk about the whole season and future objectives.

Understandable.

Soon I will post a list of players and their role in order to evaluate them and understand what's their best training.
Looking forward to this.

I won't consider players with stamina less then 2 even if there are some with important skills.
We can still give them a few minutes in the 2nd half based on their stamina level.

Form is also key, unfortunately there is nothing we can do about it but my personal experience tells me bad form equals bad play so I prefer players with better form even if not top skill.
Sounds good. But again for both form and stamina, we need to do some kind of a tradeoff where we also have to give weightage to the actual skills of the players. I would have been completely with you on this if we had a strong bench, but realistically we have limited number of players to choose from so we have to be really careful as to who we play in the playing 11. The other factor that needs to be taken into account is the extra training that the players will receive which can benefit the team in the long run.

I think before every game (maybe on Wednesday or Thursday), you can role out the playing 11 probables along with the tactics and maybe we all can discuss as to who should play, who will play where, which tactic to be employed, opponent discussion, etc. Don't worry though as you are the main coach, you will be fully entitled to take the final decision and no one is going to judge you for that. And it's ok even if we don't have this pre-match brainstorming every week if you have time issues and have other things to take care of. However, if you feel that this would lessen your independence as a coach, feel free to convey that as well. At the end of the day, this is just a game and we are here to just have fun and relax so no pressure.

I think our season objective for now must be: Bring India back to the 72nd spot that we had earlier. If lucky, even target getting into the 60s. I know it's going to be difficult but we need to start aiming for something.

Of course there would be others (Subbaranyan and Dasidiar for exemple) but they need to increase stamina first.

Sometimes I will use players with low stamina or form in 2 half and during friendly, but they need enough energy to run and help the team... if not they will stay on the bench because we have to bring India back to 72nd as soon as possible.

I prefer a post-match discussion, it is interesting to read your opinions and ideas but I have to take my own decision before the match.

off topic.
In Italy we had 3 mounth of lockdown and I know how bad is the situation.
We can now travel and we take the opportunity to walk and breath fresh air...
I'm sorry about the problem in India and I'm sure you will get out of this sooner or later.
The problem is huge and we are not safe.
Unfortunately people never change and covid will came back soon here too... in these days things are getting worst in Italy.

We have to be carefull.
Take care of yourself.

Wiki to TES
Form is critical only for keepers and strikers. For defs and mids form is...well... important, all right, but not that important like for keepers and strikers.

So don't hesitate use mids and defs with no high form, if their other skills are well and you don't have other players with similiar or higher skills to replace those with poor form. Much better def with poor form is still better than less skilled player in high form.

This is my opinion supported by years of observations. Many experienced managers share this opinion as well. You have your own experience of course so don't get me wrong - I'm not trying to teach you, I'm sharing my experience only. Maybe you will find something interesting in such discussions:)

We had 3 months of lockdown in Poland too. But now the only restriction is to wear masks in shops, barbers, banks and other public rooms. Outside buildings we are not forced to wear masks.

We must always be carefull, but it shouldn't lead to paranoia or hysteria. Let's see: number of deaths from Covid in Poland - 1,8k this year. Number of deaths from plain, simple Sepsis this year- 25k.

Covid has better marketing, no doubt

Fair enough. I assume you are playing Zev in defence because we don't have good enough defenders at the moment?

You too take care man. Hopefully this will stop everywhere once vaccine is provided to people on a large scale.

We had 3 months of lockdown in Poland too. But now the only restriction is to wear masks in shops, barbers, banks and other public rooms. Outside buildings we are not forced to wear masks.

Unfortunately the state that I live in (Maharashtra) has been hit the largest by Corona in India so I'm trying to be a bit extra cautious when I go outside to buy stuff. Nonetheless, from September 1 there is going to be a gradual lift in the lockdown.
This Corona has caused a big disruption for me personally as I had already left my job since I was planning to leave India in August and I never anticipated it to spread so much. Now I'm stuck here till the end of the year without a job so I'm trying to upgrade myself in various things related to CS.

We must always be carefull, but it shouldn't lead to paranoia or hysteria. Let's see: number of deaths from Covid in Poland - 1,8k this year. Number of deaths from plain, simple Sepsis this year- 25k.

I'm a bit conflicted as to how to assess Corona but from my end I'm taking extreme precaution. However, I personally believe that it also depends on what kind of a mental state you are in. If you are too afraid/negative, it can be particularly more fatal for you since your mentality matters a lot too. Hopefully, a strong vaccine coming out at the earliest will solve most of the mess.

Yes of course, Zev is our best defender now and he is the only one with good pace. I need him in the centre defence in order to help orders slow defenders.
More over now we have 4 strikers to chose from ;)

Yeah, plenty of players to choose from now and it will even be more plentiful in the coming weeks.

I'm going for the new recruit from Lagends FC as he fits my training regime. @TES What do you think? Where does he stand among current NT players? I think he might be the best for his age group i.e U19.

@Hoodibaba Any idea on his talent?

Arun Chiba, age: 18

club: Lagends FC, country: India
value: 2 262 500 Rs.
wage: 38 750 Rs.
very good form

Nice player, he could be useful in the future. Now I prefer same age Senthil Munusamy who is a bit slow but strongly better in Defence.
