Subject: [U21 NT] TES
congratulations once again for the study. this season modules and roles have often been changed and the statistics can be read in different ways. it is true that I chose to play defensively considering our level. I often use 5 in defense (external deployed as MID but very low) and even with the diamond shape the central midfielder remains very close to the 4 defenders. consequently it is normal to see low possession percentages and a game mainly in our half. In fact, my goal is to get off quickly by skipping the midfield and getting our attackers forward. for this we often go off side, it is a calculated risk. Unfortunately, on many occasions the counter attack did not work: wrong passes, lost tackles or nonsense backwards ... I think this last aspect may depend on the fact that the midfielders do not see the attackers too advanced due to low playmaking and passage. for this reason I now decide to lower the line of attackers a little. I think that against Luxembourg we will be able to better understand movements and see if they are good for new players. next season we will play with 541 against stronger opponents (alternatively 532 if we go down) while against affordable opponents we will start with 532 (with alternative diamond 41212). I am looking forward to see what happens against luxembourg and to read your analysis. GO INDIA GO!

Sounds good:)
And I totally agree that many of our players(mids especially) are maybe not up to the mark as compared to some other NTs and that could be the possible reason why some parameters look a bit skewed. Looking forward to the coming season!

Next season I will be switching to defender training.
So the players listed below will be going on sale when I switch.
TES I think you should train Hardip Anees since you can train 1 player in passing.
They should all pop at least once or twice more in pace before I sell them.
Tejas Satwant , age 17
value: 4 312 500 Rs.
wage: 43 750 Rs.
magical form
height: 180 cm, weight: 73.3 kg,
BMI: 22.61
unsatisfactory stamina tragic keeper
average pace adequate defender
very good technique weak playmaker
average passing adequate striker
In 9 weeks of pace training he has popped 4 times in pace, once each in tech, passing & stamina.
He's clearly very talented but I'm not sure what position will be best for him.
If you think I should train him as a defender, I can do that too.

Satwant can be trained as a defender, good choice.
I would be happy to train Anees, Gambir or Nikhil in passing. It depends on your plans and on my budget. In a couple of weeks I will sell a good player and have cash... I hope to win the bid.
I consider Zev a defender, go ahead on it ;)
Vincent THE WALL Chandramouli needs pace and later passing... if possible in the future ;)

Don't you think Nikhil & Gambhir should be trained as strikers? Or do you think they would be better as Mids?
I thought they would be better as mids.
You can train whomever you like.
Ok so I will train Satwant & Zev in Def.
I wish Vincent had come to me 2 seasons ago when I started training pace. I don't want to sell him as he's been with me for so short a period but have to for his sake and also for the sake of the rest of my juniors.

You can train Gambir and Nikhil in Defence one season.
According to your trainer there will be a chance to see them growing up in other skill too...
It is useful for them reach solid Defence and then you Will chose to train them as midfielder.
Vincent is a very interesting jr. You can make cash and let him growing elsewhere. I wish I have the money to buy him ... unfortunately I spent a lot of money in order to confirm my club in Serie C.
Lanel Naini [37401646] needs to be trained in Defence. He was on sale few weeks ago at a 900k (no bids). Maybe you can contact his manager and make an offer...

Surprisngly, Nikhil and Anees are quite similar. Total sum(pace, tech, pass, play) for Nikhil is 32 while that for Anees is 31. The only big difference is that Anees is a better playmaker and to me personally, that makes him a slightly better player even if Nikhil has better secondary skills. From what I've observed, there is some correlation between the reaction time of a player and playmaking i.e a player with better playmaking takes decisions on passes quickly as compared to someone with lower playmaking. Now if you just take into account passing and playmaking, then Anees is 18 and Nikhil is 15. Nikhil can also be considered as a reserve striker with a total sum of 25 for pace, tech and str (he's very close to Suksma and Zev, both have a sum of 26, both same age).

Gambhir too has good attributes for a reserve mid since he lacks a bit in pace to make a big impact at the front.

Again, too many similarities between Zev and Suksma, both are identical in striking and midfield with Zev slightly ahead in defending.

Amazing game today. Quite a convincing victory although we missed 2-3 chances(Anees and Shilpa) which could've widened the margin even more, but that's ok. Almost every player performed to his max potential except maybe Nikhil who takes an awful lot of time to pass the ball. In fact, the average marks for Nikhil and Anees should be swapped as Anees was way more impressive and created more and better chances than Nikhil.
On the other hand, Naini had a quiet game but looked good on the few occasions that he got the ball. Even Rochan who I had a few reservations about rose to the occasion. Also, great to see Subbarayan make his debut.
And finally, Soondaramoorthy was the star today. That 2nd goal was just awesome and he should be playing like this more often. Even Anees at one point hit a strong long ranger but was unlucky to get the goal.
Overall, a great start to the new season. The new players are really coming along together nicely.

Yessssssssss we did it!
I am very happy the match was good and we had a lot of chances.
we shown a better play building against an opponent at the same high.
I agree completely to your view about players mentioned. In particular Anees give more ideas and reacts faster than Nikhil because of his high skill in playmaking.
Not bad the performance of Tilak as a wing, I confess it was a test and it was better then I thought.
In the 1st half we played 532 and scored 2 goals, but the 2nd half with 41212 no goals makes me think there is something to do here... Luxembourg was an easy challenge. Let's go and see how we will survive against Sveden

Nice squad :)
But I'm confused, you mentioned that the tactic will be 5-4-1 but I see two attackers. Is that on purpose?

Good question ;)
Suksma and Anees play in the same zone behind Sundaramoorthy but with different tasks.
Suksma has important playmaking skill and can help Annees in building play but I want him to run with the ball and shot form away too... this is the reason why I chose ATT for him even if he is in midfield zone.
Sveden is not an easy test for this... let's go and see.

INDIA 1 - SWEDEN 4
I'm not happy about the result because we have lost this game only in the end.
First half India was ahead 1 - 0 thanks to a penalty well done by Sundaramoorthy after a very good work by Sukusma.
We played defencevly and we were able to face strongest Sweden attakers, our goal was safe in spite of the injury of Chandramouli.
In the second half the low level of STAMINA and bad changes made our castle ruined.
Munusamy was a complete disaster and this was probably his last match in NT.
Tilak took red card after few minutes and we were not able to play as in the first half.
I'm not happy about Rahulan performance too and I will consider other player in that role.
This match helped me to fine tune the tactic, next time defenders will be more close and help a bit in the midfield.
Our rank is lower than before but still in place 73. I fell confident to climb positions next season.
