Last 7 weeks training update with the inclusion of assistants:

- For the 1st 5 weeks, I had 2 adequate and 1 good assistant.
- In the 5th and 6th weeks respectively, I replaced both of my adequate assistants with good. So I now have 3 good assistants.

There hasn't been much of a difference in the number of pops/week with the inclusion of 3 new assistants. Yes, there is an extra trained and other skill pop but other than that, not much. Of course, there can be other factors like talent, inclusion of new players, one extra week of defending training in the current cycle, etc.

I'm planning to replace my incredible coach with a magical/brilliant one, but I'm not still getting a coach with the right skill distribution and wages at the right price. I might even use the skills select option in the future if the right coach continues to elude me on the TL.

If you are only training pace and def. He only needs to be unearthly in that.

Yeah, I know that, I'm trying to see the impact on the random pops i.e 'other skill' pops. I had already noticed a huge difference when I had replaced my average coach (who too was unearthly in pace and def) with an incredible one with a good skill distribution which I've mentioned in the 1st page of this thread.

This was a small experiment to assess the impact of assistants on training.

Have replaced one of my good assistant with an excellent one. Now, it's 1 excellent and 2 good. Planning to replace both the good ones with formidable in the future. I was planning this after I replace my incredible main coach with brilliant/magical but I'm just not getting the right candidate with appropriate wages and right skillset yet. Apart from those 2 tries previously at skills select, I haven't gone further with that as well. Right now, I feel that my coach is doing a good job and I'm just being more patient right now. There were a few suitable coaches but they went for insanely high bids and there was one who I had almost got if not for the connection issue at the wrong time (he was a brilliant coach with really good main skills and low wage as compared to his peers).

Ranjana since coming into the squad has popped 4 times in 4 weeks. Looks like he is talented but unfortunate that his skills are not properly distributed. My squad is now of 24 players and I need to sell/sack 2 players. I'll try selling first of course but if none of them is sold, I'm unsure who to sack. Was also planning one of my mid(Sobczak) as I was expecting a pace pop from him this week but he didn't pop which means I'll have to train him for one more week before selling him (also planning to sell a Ecuador NT def but maybe next to next week since I'm expecting him to bump in defence and currently I'm training pace). I'm planning all this to make way for more local players such that even the mediocre players that come out of my school have a chance.

Finally got excellent and formidable assistants. They'll be replacing both of the 2 good assistants in the following week. My coaching staff gets stronger with the induction of these 2 new assistants. Now I'll hold off on buying a new brilliant/magical coach until the next season as I'll have to assess whether I can cope up with these additional expenses.
