Subject: Training Regime of Managers

2020-11-10 13:53:07
Finally got excellent and formidable assistants. They'll be replacing both of the 2 good assistants in the following week. My coaching staff gets stronger with the induction of these 2 new assistants. Now I'll hold off on buying a new brilliant/magical coach until the next season as I'll have to assess whether I can cope up with these additional expenses.

Now, my coaching staff is:

Incredible head coach
2x excellent assistants
1x formidable assistant

+7 pace (Santosh)
+1 def
+1 pla (Dasdidar)
+1 str (Chiba)

These are my last 10 weeks training updates.

Head Coach: Incredible (10th Sep - 12th Nov)
[8]solid stamina [7]good keeper
[16]unearthly pace [16]unearthly defender
[12]outstanding technique [16]unearthly playmaker
[15]magical passing [15]magical striker

Assistants: 3 good assistants

Total Weeks Training: 10
Total number of players trained/week usually: 20-22 but majority of the times 22
Pace Training Weeks: 6 Defending Training Weeks: 4
Total Trained Skill Pops: 43
Average Trained Skill Pops: 4.3
Total Other Skill Pops: 36
Average Other Skill Pops: 3.6
Average pops/week: 7.9 (Excluded Stamina pops)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now, below is my past training update.

Head Coach: Incredible (23rd Jul - 10th Sep)
[8]solid stamina [7]good keeper
[16]unearthly pace [16]unearthly defender
[12]outstanding technique [16]unearthly playmaker
[15]magical passing [15]magical striker

Assistants: 3
- For the 1st 5 weeks, I had 2 adequate and 1 good assistant.
- In the 5th and 6th weeks respectively, I replaced both of my adequate assistants with good. So I now have 3 good assistants.

Total Weeks Training: 7
Pace Training Weeks: 3 Defending Training Weeks: 4
Total Trained Skill Pops: 18
Average Trained Skill Pops: 2.57
Total Other Skill Pops: 19
Average Other Skill Pops: 2.71
Average pops/week: 5.28 (Excluded Stamina pops)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My average trained skill pops has increased from 2.57 to 4.3 while the other skill pops has increased from 2.71 to 3.6. This is a big jump from the past training update and this is also mainly because I've started training juniors coming out of my youth school who are fairly young and give more number of pops/week. Also, I think previously my trained number of players/week was a little less, maybe in the range of 17-19 while currently it's always in the range of 20-22, majority of the times being 22. Number of players trained/week, age of those players, skill trained, talent, etc also play a huge role. For example, pace training gives higher number of pops since all players are trained. 1 of my player hardly jumps in any skills because of his age and has just popped twice in the past 10 weeks and just thrice overall since he joined the club 31 weeks back, so it's fair to discount him. Which means 77 pops in total and if we divide it by number of players, then it means that on an average, every player in my team popped ~3.67 times in these 10 weeks which further means that an individual player pops once every 2.67 week.

Note: I've excluded stamina pops.

As I've mentioned earlier, I now have 2 excellent and 1 formidable assistants.

Managed to rope in a magical coach for my youth team through skills select, got him in the 3rd attempt. He'll be replacing my previous brilliant coach. The additional finances in the top league meant my weekly account balance was highly positive and that encouraged me. But I made a small blunder in which I sacked my previous brilliant coach and I think instead I should have made him as an assistant. Anyway, since I now have a lot of money, it doesn't pinch me as much as it could have a season ago. Will now try to recruit better assistants with low wages and maybe even that ever elusive perfect head coach which has the best of all.

Lolendra Sivakumar, age: 62
wage: 48 900 $
club: Pune FC, country: India,
magical coach

Training effectiveness as head coach:
unearthly of stamina unearthly of keeper
unearthly of pace brilliant of defender
unearthly of technique outstanding of playmaker
magical of passing incredible of striker

That's great.
Your best coach i.e. unearthly coach, should be in charge of the juniors.
For the main coach, a magical coach is fine. Just make sure he's unearthly in what you're training.

Got a new incredible assistant through transfers, his wage is 20 875 $, which I feel is pretty cheap for that level of coach.

Now, my assistants are 1x incredible, 1x formidable, 1x excellent. Will keep looking out for incredible/brilliant assistants so atleast on the assistant level my staff will look good. I'm satisfied with my current incredible head coach due to his good skill distribution but still looking for a magical one. Just yesterday, had a strong bidding war with another user for a magical coach but I lost out, he just had too much money. I was willing to spend 50% of my current account balance on him but the other user had 4 times more money than my whole account balance in his own kitty.

Have inducted a new brilliant coach who'll be replacing my excellent assistant.

Great news!

Got a new incredible assistant who replaces my formidable one. So now 2x incredible and 1x brilliant assistants. On the assistant level, I think I'm almost done for now. Of course, the plan is to eventually have 3 brilliant/magical assistants but I'll just wait and see how the finances are being impacted and then decide on it. Maybe by end next season, I might just have a well rounded staff. I also have a magical junior coach currently so I'm happy on the coaching front at this moment.

Answering Hoodibaba's below question from the other thread:

Maybe we should start compiling a list of different managers we know of who would be willing to train our NT players?
Do either of our NT coaches already have a list they can share here?

Let's look at current training:

Hoodibaba: Defending full season followed by pace full season?
Attila: Pace full season, also mentioned that he is striker trainer, maybe switches between pace and striking training every season?
Wiki: I think GK and pace.
TES: Busy with Israel NT but can maybe buy a few if he has slots available.
Przesmo: Maybe pace.
KautukP: 4 weeks pace and 4 weeks defence in alteration. Currently training pace.
Bonanza77: Midfield trainer but don't know specifically what he's training
Carvalho: Has Nikhil, I'm assuming he's giving some sort of midfield training but not sure.
Stevens: No idea, maybe pace.

Let us know what you all are training so that we can have a better compilation about it.

Bonanza trains passing, playmaking

Wiki? I think that he is Lavanya's owner and the problem is he trains only pace for Lavanya (don't trains goalkeeping).

Attila: I'm training in this season pace maybe 1-2 weeks stamina. Next season switch to techniqoue and striker training.

My training regime is correct. Sometimes I do train technique if required for a few weeks or stamina for 1 or 2 weeks between seasons.
Carvalho is training passing if I'm not mistaken.

Then if we leave aside GK, we are pretty much sorted on the training front.

Defence trainers: Hoodibaba, KautukP
Mid trainers: Carvalho, Bonanza77
Striker trainers: Attila
GK: None yet

For mid trainers, I'm assuming Carvalho and Bonanza77 will actively be looking to specifically train Indian mids.
Will now just have to ask TES, Prezsmo, Wiki and Stevens as to what they are training and if they are willing to train Indian juniors so that we can somehow collaborate with them when new juniors come out (considering the fact that some interesting juniors will be making their way in this season).

Had a chat with a few of the other users. Have compiled an updated list of the training plans.

Hoodibaba: Defender trainer. Defending full season followed by pace full season. Sometimes tech in between for a few weeks.
Attila: Striker trainer. Pace full season followed by striker and tech training the next season.
Wiki: Striker trainer. Pace, striker and tech but striker most of the time. Only looking for talented players.
TES: Pace full season.
Przesmo: Pace full season for some years now.
KautukP: 4 weeks pace and 4 weeks defence in alteration. Currently training pace.
Bonanza77: Midfield trainer. Passing and playmaking.
Carvalho: Not yet replied.
Stevens: Midfield trainer. Passing.

Finally managed to get a magical coach after an intense bidding war which cost me a fortune. Got him for 1 318 360 $ which is more than half of the total money that I have.

Here's how he looks like, love his skill distribution.

country: România,

Training effectiveness as head coach:
