This is really out of topic and unusual but since this is an anonymous forum, I really don't care much.
Was friends with a girl in college, not really friends but the general hi hello. Her group of friends was totally different from mine, but I noticed that in my final year of engineering, she started multiple conversations by herself with me. But I was a bit shy at that time, so I didn't go too ahead or just didn't have the guts to ask her out. After engineering, we got into different companies, I lost touch with her and she lost touch with me. But I still felt that maybe she has feelings for me so I just sent her a message after 2 years and started a general conversation. After some days, I asked whether she interested in me but she said she was already in a relationship but her parents are not allowing her to marry him because of a 'few' reasons. However, her parents want to marry her off but now she is not even interested in marrying and with great difficulty has pushed her marriage (I have also told her I'll be flying off to US to start my Masters next year). Her parents have already registered her name on matrimonial sites and since she's now already 24, they want to her marry at the earliest. She said that we can continue remaining as friends but she is not interested in a relationship . I was gutted after hearing that. Feeling a bit depressed since the past 2-3 days now, everything seems boring and bland.
Just wanted to share my heart out on an anonymous forum of a game. Nothing else :(

Heartache is part of life. We've all been there.
What I can tell you is that whatever happens, happens for a reason.
Someone better will come along and you will be happier for it.
Once Covid is over, just go out and meet new people and if nothing else atleast you will make some friends.

The other thing I regret is that initially we both were placed in the same company. But later, after graduation, since the joining date was a bit far away, I applied to a few other companies and got a better offer, so I joined the other one instead. Maybe, if I would've remained in the previous one, things might have been different :(

Today, she started a general conversation with me and then in between said that 'If our paths are meant to cross, they will cross." I mean she wrote 2 whole paragraphs but she basically wanted to say that she is in 2 minds (that's what I assume). And then later sent a connection request on LinkedIn. Girls are really hard to understand lol.
The LinkedIn bit is a professional connection. Don't mix the 2 up.
Girls will always cause the most pain, whether they mean to or not.
As has been said before, something better will come along, or something just as good but unexpected.
I had a similar thing, and turns out looking back our paths had the potential to cross a few times but just kept missing out. As much as it would have been great to give it a go, I have the most amazing partner now and I wouldn't change it for the world.
It's hard to see at the moment, or even if your head sees it, the heart still hurts, but time will heal it and when that better comes around you will be happy this didn't happen.

There are plenty of important things that I haven't mentioned actually. I know it's just a LinkedIn connection but still. For example, she is also planning to do Masters and if she gets a good score, hopefully she won't marry the next year.

The thing is that I don't know whether I'll like a girl as much as I liked her. She has a really good personality with a very good heart. I'm now taking this as a big improvement from the 'let's remain as friends'. I'm not giving up yet, until she finally marries someone else or until I find a better girl than her. I'm 100% sure she has feelings towards me but she is very confused at the moment.

Congrats to Stevens CPR who get an automatic promotion in the NFL due to them being the best 1st place team in 2nd division. Really a good achievement considering the fact that he bettered my club in points tally although I was playing with my weak squad throughout the league games. Will be interesting to have 5 active managers in the NFL next season, excited about it. Also will finally get the chance to see my juniors perform in the junior league. Looking forward to seeing clubs like Stevens CPR, Aguardilho FC and New Gunner increasing their junior count to more than 11 so that we can play against each other in the junior league. Right now, it's just me and Hoodibaba having a high junior count.

Over the last few days I haven't been able to login to Sokker Organizer on my Mac. Does anyone know what the problem could be?
I even reinstalled it but got a message saying it can't be oened as it's by an unrecognized developer.
