Subject: Federation Cup

The game got a bit too close for my liking but...

on to the semi finals!

Their mids showed their class by putting in balls in the right position for their strikers, however my attack was relentless and eventually we managed to score more goals than the opposition and that's what matters in the end. Tsagas had a horrific game where he missed many chances. He always plays bad when I play him as a right forward. In the next game, I might swap his position with Nietnagal.

Now, if I get to play harsh killers in the semi finals, my path to the finals is guaranteed. But if I get either of Aguardilho FC or Lagends FC, my journey will most probably get over here.

It looks like the next game will be my last in the Federation Cup since I'll be playing Lagends FC. But it will be exciting to pitch my boys against some of our U21 players like Chandramouli, Zev, Suksma, Anees, Nachik, Rochan, etc, assuming Hoodibaba uses the same squad that he used in the semis.

Not the exact same squad but yes you will definitely see atleast a few of the U21 players

2 changes for my team:

MacVean (DEF) replaces Ettahadieh (DEF)
Cousins (DEF) replaces Ashton (DEF)

Dasdidar gets a place in the subs and might see match time later in the half.

Salgado (ATT) replaces Tsagas (ATT) since Tsagas had a disastrous game against New Gunner and his shots were way off the mark. Salgado is better in striking and will be expecting him to try some long rangers. His superdivine form further convinces me.

It's going to be an expensive game for my fans but I'm sure they'll be willing to shell out that extra cash when the India U-21 stars tour Pune FC arena in the one-sided semi-final of this Cup. Big advertisements all around the arena with posters of Chandramouli, Zev and Anees standing side by side with arms crossed. It's not everyday that you see NT stars on your own ground ;)

Salgado gets injured at a really bad time which means Tsagas retains his place.

I recently expanded my stadium but even the extra seats were found wanting in the blockbuster semi-final game against Lagends FC. The writing was always there on the wall, Lagends came all out in the 1st half itself to seal the deal but in the 2nd half my team made them struggle for the goals with the 2nd half score being 0-1 to Lagends. I found both Manohari and Yashodhan impressive, Manohari more so with his very high conversion rate, it was a pleasure to watch him as he comes from the Pune FC Academy ;P . Would love to see Manohari start in the next U21 game and maybe subbed in the 2nd half as he looked very good against my club as I had 1 Canadian U21 and 1 Nicaraguan U21 defenders in my playing 11. I also saw Yashodhan saving 2 goals by tackling my best forward so these are good signs.
