This time, a somewhat unusual report follows. I write 4 times that were in the match: 38th, 55th, 86th, 89th minutes. In the 38th minute, Shilpa faced the goalkeeper in a 1 vs 1 situation and later Satwant in the next 3 times. All 4 of our huge positions were missed - 1 vs. 1 situations.
And Japan ... oh yeah, before their first goal, the ball bounced from one of our defenders in front of their great striker, so he had place and time, of course he didn't make a mistake. Like the next huge position and shot into Kurihara (thanks to the match engine, thank you very much !!!). What else did Japan need? Even a free kick has scored and such an event is very rare in sokker. Of course, the fact that Lavanya is in very, very weak form also played a role here. And yes, Satwant’s 3 missed chances is also due to the fact that he is also in very weak form. Who knows what the match engine would have given if these 2 of our players were in at least medium (e.g. formadible) form? We never know.
It was very annoying this match today, but unfortunately there are sometimes some of them in sokker when the match engine makes an unrealistic difference: one succeeds in everything, the other in nothing. I am sorry, I hope, I can still count on your support.

To be honest, from the first few mins itself I knew that we might concede a goal and that's because our defense line was a bit too ahead which means open spaces for the opposition attackers once they cross the defence line. It was a simply a wrong strategy to expect our defenders to match the pace and striking capability of their forwards. If you look at the 1st two goals, that was how we conceded. Their mid just lobbed the ball ahead and with 4 defenders manning the line and too far ahead, they managed to find spaces to get the ball to their forward. It would've been better if we would've played a defensive game and had just sat back making them struggle to get the goal. And instead of the 4 defenders, maybe 5 defenders in a line would've been better against a three pronged striking attack with exceptional pace and technique. Because when the opposition have 3 forwards and 4 defenders are far ahead, it's just open playground for them.
Indonesia's tactic was a bit similar to ours but they were lucky, maybe their GK was better I don't know. Japan would've scored the same goals as they scored against us but their forwards missed many chances.
Our forwards Satwant and Shilpa as you mentioned missed plenty of chances but due to poor form we couldn't convert our opportunities. Satwant still isn't very good in striking if we just look at his striking skill but I'm sure by next season, he's going to be a big menace for the opposition. Simply getting into good positions for goal scoring is something that he has a knack of if we compare him with Shilpa.
As I mentioned previously, I knew we were going to conceded atleast 1 or 2 but conceding 4 was a bit embarrassing for us as a team, it also makes it difficult for us to go through on GD. I think instead of being too ambitious, we might've played this out as a draw.

Don't worry, no team can be fully perfect, we'll have our bad days. Now, let's just fight it till the end.

Yes I think we could have played a 5-2-2-1 configuration instead. Ofcourse in hindsight it's very easy to say what we should have done.
We knew that Japan has incredible strikers so I think we should have played a counter attacking strategy. 5 defenders playing close together & sitting deep with another line of 2 in front of them should have been able to manage their strikers.
Anyway every loss is a learning experience. Let's learn from this match and prepare for the next.

You both write that 5 defenders should have been played against Japan. In retrospect, this is indeed stated and true. Unfortunately, it was only during the match that it became clear that there were few of our 4 defenders against such a strong striker, strikers.
But let's turn it around. If we play 5 defenders, less of our people can take part in foreplay or attack. That way we would have less of a situation, less chance of scoring. I didn’t want to play a draw in today’s match, and I think we would have only had a chance to draw with 5 defenders - knowing the ability of our players, I knew we needed so many people, so many attackers. If we play a tie with 5 defenders, it is still in the match that a strong battle like Kurihara once steps away from the defenders and scores a goal. Because Lavanya is in bad shape and has scored from every situation. So 1 goal scored was almost expected, no matter how many defenders we play. As I wrote earlier, I didn’t want to play a draw today. Why? Because based on the paper form, Indonesia will win today (it really did), so with a tie against Japan, we would must to win against Indonesia anyway (because we only won 1-0 against U.A.E.). This is because Japan is also expected to win U.A.E. against. So we would have been left in the final round with a victory compulsion against Indonesia, who are perhaps an even better team than Japan. For this reason, I planned to take the risk against Japan instead, not to play a draw with a safety tactic (5 defenders for example), but to try to win. Well, unfortunately, as you can see, my plan failed. But what's left for Round 3? You have to win against Indonesia to advance. It's the same as if we scored 1 point today.
Thank you for your comments and suggestions. If the player frame were allowed, several tactics could be applied. Unfortunately, that’s all we have at the moment, I think today’s 2 tactics (it was different in the 1st half and there were different tactics in the 2nd half) are our current most optimal 2 tactics, given this current player roster.

I hope we will have soon same midfielder like this Japanese:
Shinkichi Ienaga, kor: 21
klub: FC Pustyny, ország: Nippon
felülmúlhatatlan [18] forma
varázslatos [15] taktikai fegyelmezettség
magasság: 191 cm, súly: 92.1 kg, BMI: 25.25
félelmetes [11] erőnlét reménytelen [1] védés
kiváló [12] gyorsaság megfelelő [6] védekezés
félelmetes [11] technika kiváló [12] irányítás
briliáns [14] átadás átlagos [5] gólszerzés
The worst thing about defeating today is that we will lose a lot of leaderboard points because of this, as Japan is only 83rd in the leaderboard. In reality, however, it is a stronger team of better players.

We actually have better chances against Indonesia. They just play 2 defenders close together and the other two are far way from the middle two. Look at their last 2 games, once either Satwant/Shilpa get an opening, I see them scoring a goal. UAE got a goal against Indonesia but they couldn't score against us, so Indonesia's defense tactic is very weak but I'm not saying their defenders are bad. Also, Japan had an X factor which Indonesia doesn't have, they have more of a well rounded team with no particular player standing out. Of course, they are stronger than us but going by their tactics in previous games, we stand a chance. Our mids like Rantidev, Surnilla and Najeeb just need to be creative in getting the ball up to Satwant. It will be a close game but if we place our players in the right positions, we have the ability to spring them a surprise.
If you see how UAE got the goal, you'll get what I'm trying to say.

Unfortunately, only the top 2 finishers advance. There are only 4 groups, 4 teams in each. This will be after the group matches:
next round : 13 week
1 - A1 : D2
2 - B1 : C2
3 - C1 : A2
4 - D1 : B2
So, as I wrote yesterday, we only have a chance to move forward if we defeat Indonesia. And this is a very difficult task, given their average rating. Their defenses are vulnerable - in principle. But we’ll see in the match how we manage to create situations. I am also very angry about yesterday’s match because we managed to create 4 clean goal situations against Japan and our strikers all missed out. We have had fewer such big goal situations in previous matches.
Unfortunately, as I thought, the defeat against Japan caused a lot (62 points) of minus in the rankings. We are currently in 66th place and need to finish the season very well to be among the top 64 again.

Oops, I thought there were 5 groups. Didn't look properly. Yes then our chances our slim :|
Yes if we played 5 def then we would definitely be playing for a draw, which again given the calibre of the Japanese fwds was no guarantee.
Let's hope the match engine works in our favour against Indonesia and they get a red card and an injury or 2 :P
All said and done we have been a bit unlucky off late due to injuries and poor form. It's all part of the game. I'm sure we will come back stronger next season for sure with better players.

We played a no-goal match against Indonesia. It was expected that we would have very little chance to score a goal and win today, unfortunately it did. With this result today, we finished with 4 points in the group, which means we finished in 3rd place and thus dropped out.
We played with new tactics today, which I hoped we would have minimum ONE big chance for score a goal. However, it must be recognized that the goalkeeper of Indonesia (by his value and salary) is on a divine level.
Nevertheless, it can be said that we are building the team of the future. Unfortunately, there are only a few players (because there are only a few active users), so this season the majority of the team is 20 years old or younger. Opponents are likely to be able to send more 21-year-old and thus better-qualified players to the field.
But that’s why I think our team will be better for next season, as it’s getting better and better that all our potential U21 members are in the right place, training them well, achieving maximum improvement. Unfortunately, this was not the case before. Thanks to all the helpers who coach U21 players.

The last match in this gorup brought a big surprise: U.A.E.-Nippon 2-2
The end result of the group:
1. Nippon 5 points 7-3
2. Indonesia 5 points 4-2
3. India 4 points 1-4
4. U.A.E. 1 point 3-6

Indonesia was always going to be a tough nut to crack but before the tournament, I had already predicted that our chances were better against Indonesia than against Japan. We defended well yesterday as their midfield had a lot of control over the ball and they were playing wide across the pitch, I really liked their style of play but that style doesn't produce many chances and that tactic is only useful when you have very good mids and attackers. In the 1st half, the ball had actually crossed the goal line and they should've got a goal but the ref wasn't looking it seems and instead they got a corner ;) In the same half, Satwant unleashed a strong shot but their keeper was up to the task and stopped it. If the keeper had a slightly lower level, I'm sure that would have been a goal. The problem with Shilpa I currently see is that his BMI is very high coupled with his height and hence it takes a lot of time to get the pace on the ball and by that time the opposition defenders tackle him and take the ball. But we don't have any other option currently. Najeeb and Surnilla had a bad tournament according to me. Varati and Suresh looked good yesterday and I know the only problem is that they've low stamina. Satwant even being in low form played really well as a striker, Shilpa wasn't good, Lavanya should've been better against Japan. If we leave aside Japan, our defenders did well in the other games. Rantidev was above average but that's only because his passing still isn't quite accurate otherwise his high playmaking many times makes up for it.
We finish on 3rd place and get knocked out in a very close group. As you mentioned, surprisingly Japan drew against UAE which just emphasizes my point about this being the toughest group. UAE weren't too bad against us as well and they had created some chances of their own. Anyway, now that we're out, I'll be supporting Japan since they are the underdogs and seem to be a very mercurial team and on their day they can defeat any side. Will be interesting to see who reaches the semis and who goes on to win it eventually.

For now, possible trainees for you. But as Hoodibaba mentioned, you'll have difficulty buying them unless you have very good cash. But let's see. And I also think GKs train quicker as compared to other positions so when you sell them, you'll receive a lot of money, so even if you spend a lot on them, it'll still be a good investment.
Douglas Kalanadhabhatla 19 incredible GK 5
Mark Tarit 18 formidable GK 7

As Kautuk wrote, you should buy these 2 goalkeepers and train them. The first will come in 5 weeks from now, the other in 7 weeks. I will inform you before that when the first one comes. Make the money :) Thank you for your help.
