Today's opponent, Turkey, was the strongest team I have played with as captain of U21. I'm sorry we don't have a better goalkeeper. Plus, even the red card came, which meant we had to play with 10 people for half time. Our defenders were smoothly overplayed, and Meyappan made mistakes we hadn’t seen from him before. There are so many positives in the attack that we had 2 chances from which we could have scored a goal, unfortunately our attackers were not successful today either. I apologize for today's result, it is a great sadness for me. In retrospect, of course, it may be smart to have to play with 5 defenders, but then we wouldn't have had that much chance of attacking, we would have gotten at least a goal or two less - IF ...

It was a good match. You conceded only one goal each from Estonia and the USA, even though the players in your team had low skills. The most important factor is you. I hope you play better matches in the future. Hope to meet you again..

Unfortunately, the goalkeeper position is a serious problem this season. He is currently at level 12 and now his form is weak. It is not competitive with strong national teams like Turkey U21. Congratulations to you and good luck in the next matches.

Yeah, today was a complete rollover but hey you are playing against a team with an avg mark of 60. Maybe you can try adding conditional orders where if you concede a certain threshold of goals, you can increase the number of players manning the defence.

We played good but our GK was bad.

It is of tremendous importance that Tarit develops as a goalkeeper, thanks to Stevens ’help. I think Tarit will be the goalkeeper in U21 in the next match. Meyappan is now in unsatisfactory (2) form, and based on what we can saw yesterday, he is no longer eligible to appear in U21.

I will try my best. Tarit is getting a rating of 45-46. My dream is to develop 2 good GKs for India and then move on to other training.

The form of our two goalkeepers is just the same right now (good-7), and although Meyappan is still ahead in keeper skill now, I still give confidence to Tarit. He is now a little weaker in keeper skill, but plays regularly and gets keeper training at Stevens Club. Because of the extra training minutes I got in U21 matches, I feel it is more worthwhile to put Tarit’s performance ahead.

Easy win today

I see us playing better against opponents of roughly the same strength as us until we have a goalkeeper to save something, unfortunately only painful defeats like today come.

This season goes to the trash because we miss our matches at the GK post. Tarit is evolving, but only next season can he be expected to stop a few shots and not get a goal from every shot going to the goal.

What is already visible is the danger that there will be very few defender in our U21 team next season: Yashodhan, Pavan, Kabra. We only have 3 defenders left whose defending skill reaches level 10 (excellent). I will have to play Subbarayan as a defender, but we will still only have 4 players for these positions.

I will do my best to have our strikers in U21 in the future as well: Engineer will be at Satwant level next season. I tried to buy Mounil this week, but unfortunately the bidding was over at the wrong time, and unfortunately the striker went to a completely novice user, so he won’t develop properly.

So we don’t have good prospects for next season. I am confident that someone will help U21 to have more than 3-4 defenders on the team next season.
