Subject: [U21] Attila
Although I wouldn't agree with a few of the positions allocated to the players in your list, I think you have covered almost every U21 NT prospect. We don't have a huge pool and thus have to make a lot of compromises on which player to play where so it will be interesting to see which player you will play on which position. There's one Rajesh Vishnu (possible striker) from my club who is being wasted at 'Dharma' but I don't think he'll be of much use now since he has lost a few training weeks. You can still contact the manager if you find him interesting but with so many strikers to choose from, he'll remain as a reserve and most likely won't get any game time.
Of course, the positions in the list can be changed flexibly for several players. Basically, I see the main problem with midfielders. There are few players and almost all are 21 years old.
I have already written to Dharma about Vishnu's case (he is a Hungarian user, by the way, but unfortunately I don't know him).
Thank you for your comments.

Yes, there will be a big problem with midfielders.

I don't have much hopes from Vishnu honestly but you never know, he can turn out to be a good player if by luck he gets into good clubs with excellent training staff with regular games.

I look forward to tomorrow to start working with the U21 team. Thank you all for the vote.
The first task will be to prepare the tactics. I really hope there is no technical problem with the fact that the game is being developed now.

My incredible/brilliant junior Manohari coming out in 2 weeks will be a welcome addition to the team and hopefully his skills will be distributed as a mid as we badly need them. I remember Anees coming out last to last season just at the perfect time and coming in straight into the playing 11 since even then at that time, we had a mid problem. Satwant is impressive for his age (in his performance) but he needs more training while Gambhir is good in playmaking but needs improvement in pace and passing. Gambhir actually played better in the 2nd half against Armenia as compared to the 1st half. We certainly have Rochan and Najeeb waiting in the wings but we need a player that is at the level of Nikhil/Anees. Biswas, Chiba, Sadiq and Makarand weren't too bad in the previous game but we still need a strong defender who can man the center with Zev convincingly. Munusamy lacks a bit of pace which was evident in the previous game when we were up against fast paced attackers. Another big issue is our GK. Chohan had a disastrous last game and I think even a slightly better GK might have saved atleast 2 of those goals that he conceded. Our forwards on the other hand look good.
We are now the 2nd best ranked team (U21) in terms of number of users. Which basically means that apart from Wales (Cymru), there's no better ranked team than us with lower number of users. It just means that we are just more efficient in handling whatever resources we have at hand. Wales is a freakish country, they are 2 places above us with just 2 users.

Good luck India and Attila!
Great analysis again by Kau... I Will really miss it.
Please fell free to be accreditated press report and write on Israel forum as well (of course If I Will be elected).
The qualification group is really hard and in my opinion defence needs help. The Gk you will chose will be good but not an hero such as Chandara... he needs protection. Only Zev is a garantee in Defence.
Other youth such as Manusamy, Biawas, Chiba and Makarand can be right choices with a good tactics for their pace.
In the MID you can chose betweeen
Satwant, Rochan, Nikhil, Gambhir and Anees... not bad ;)
In attack there are top players Sukusma and Sundaramoorthy and don't forget Shilpa as well.
Go India Go!

Yes, the team suddenly looks very vulnerable without Chandramouli and of course there's also no Lanka on Zev's side, they had great coordination.

Munusamy will be our leader in defence in the next season, I'm assuming he'll be trained in pace for the majority of this season. He doesn't need any additional defence training at this point.
Satwant, Rochan, Nikhil, Gambhir and Anees... not bad ;)
Even Najeeb depending on the training provided. The good thing is that other clubs have started increasing the number of juniors so we'll have plenty of options 2 seasons down the line.

Thank you TES. Good luck in Israel!
Rochan I think is primarily a defender. Rochan will get defense training, playmaking and passing skills will not be trained. But that’s not really a problem, Rochan will be a very strong defender. He is 21 years old, so he will only be playing in U21 this season. In the longer term, the number of midfielders needs to be improved for the coming seasons. For Rochan, a DEF-MID position could be another good option.
Looking to the future, Satwant may be a good midfielder (19 years old), but even that depends on what kind of training he gets at his club (I haven’t received an answer from the owner yet).
The other possible midfielder in the future is Surnilla (18 years old). He’s training me now, he’s getting pace this season. Afterwards, a friend of mine will train to midfielder skills.
The situation is relatively good in goalkeeper, defender and striker positions. Relatively: I mean, compared to the current ranking. But there is room for improvement everywhere, new players are needed in every position. And that depends on the youth academies. Fortunately, there is an interested active small community in India. I am very pleased with this.

Goalkeeper post would require at least 1 more GK who is not more than 20 years old.
Unfortunately, it turned out that 20-year-old Lavanya only gets speed training. Although I try to find a user who is a goalkeeper coach for Lavanya, but it takes a lot of luck to find someone.
I have a question for you: does anyone in the youth team have GK?

I have posted my youth team in the junior school thread. There's one goalie who is 19, will be coming out in 12 weeks and is currently outstanding.
He could be the next great goalkeeper. It will be important to get a good training after the sale. Unfortunately, Lavanya seems to be in the wrong place. The owner trains strikers :( He bought the goalkeeper for investment purposes only.
Yeah I'll be selling him immediately. Shame about Lavanya but we can't do anything.
I’m thinking of buying this goalkeeper (Lavanya) at the price his owner wants (2 million euro). Afterwards I will sell him as soon as possible (at a minimum opening price). That way we would have a chance to get to the right place. The only problem is that it is not guaranteed to be in the right place either. I'm just sure I'd lose on these transfers overall :)
Rather, let’s hope the goalkeeper who comes up from the youth academy soon gets to the right place.

30 juniors will be coming out this season, I've combined the juniors from Lagends FC and my club only since I don't have data for other clubs. These are the approx counts for each age group.
16y - 5
17y - 10
18y - 10
19y - 4
20y - 1
Players to look out for by week (n=14):
Stanley Manohari 20 incredible outfield 2 Pune FC
Sylvester Ragunathan 18 excellent outfield 4 Lagends FC
Tarif Urjavaha 18 formidable outfield 5 Lagends FC
Biju Saini 17 solid outfield 6 Pune FC
Manjit Pavan 18 very good outfield 7 Pune FC
Pratik Yashodhan 17 formidable outfield 7 Lagends FC
Savio Sreekanthan 19 formidable outfield 10 Lagends FC
Amandeep Pavan 16 adequate outfield 10 Pune FC
Abhijit Pawan 17 solid outfield 11 Pune FC
Ratan Ajatashatru 17 good outfield 11 Lagends FC
Ramesh Ujesh 17 excellent outfield 12 Pune FC
Sarabjith Meyappan 19 outstanding GK 12 Pune FC
Mahesh Pavi 17 solid outfield 13 Pune FC
Vikrant Sawant 17 solid outfield 15 Pune FC
So ~50% of the original 30 players are the ones that we can really look forward to this season. Among them again, if we distribute by age groups we have:
16y - 1
17y - 7
18y - 3
19y - 2
20y - 1
Again, half of them will be 17y olds which means that they may take a season or two to get games for NT. Which means we have 6 juniors who are 18y or older who may have higher chances of filling in slots for emergency purposes this season. Juniors from other clubs like Stevens, Aguardilho, New Gunner will be a welcome bonus.
