In the last WCQ match, I was happy with the team’s performance. We played a tight match against the USA, who will be there for the next World Cup.

Next week, the 21-year-olds may not be playing anymore, although they still have a chance at one last match. I wonder what the team will be able to do without the players now aging.

I don't know Cymru will play with 21 year old or not but we need to win.

If you still trust me, I would continue to work for U21. I know it's a very bad season behind me. I can’t promise anything, but overall, the U21 is getting stronger. There could be a little more users, but unfortunately we can't improve on that.

Can't help it if we don't have the players.
You proved yourself in the previous season.
Both our NTs play with really good tactics which has made us giant killers.
I think coaches should be evaluated based on tactics, not the number of wins.

India - New Zealand

We started the new season with a nice win. It can be said that this was the real introductory match of this age group, as last week Cymru also played a 21-year-old player, while we did not have a 21-year-old on the team.

Today’s opponent, New Zealand, is significantly ahead of the leaderboard, but there was no difference in today’s match - or there was a difference between the two teams: WE WERE THE BETTER!

I’m really pleased that the tactics put together before today’s game worked well for the most part. I'm trying to take advantage of the winger. This still needs to be developed a lot, and even players suitable for this role need to evolve, as the winger is a special role.

Our offensive game a long time ago was as effective as it is today. There were a lot of opportunities, in addition to the 2 goals, there were 1 bar and 2 missed big chances. I'm glad to see today's performance.

This was a really good match where even though NZ were slightly better than us in the 1st half, we still managed to level the score by a strong shot from Rantidev from out of the blue. Our winger Gawli did a good job but the game really turned on its head in the 2nd half when our subs Ragunathan, Suresh and Bimalbirua immediately made their impact. All three of them were fabulous and we were better than them in the 2nd half. The play in half for 2nd half reads NZ as 65%.

We will participate on U20 Mini World Cup next season. It's a good opportunity for our younger players to debute in U-team. Of course I know that we are a little weak in U20 but I thought why not we could participate on this tournament. Maybe it will be only one match because this is a cup-system tournament. Maybe a good draw could bring more matches :)

Today, I am pleased to see the good performance of the team again. We made a draw against Bolivia in 46th place. True, they had a player who received a red card - we had a red card in other matches. I’m glad he was able to swing the team’s game again as Bimalbirua replaced and Ragunathan scored again. Tarit will become an increasingly advanced goalkeeper, once again providing reliable performance.
