Another great win, we seem to be on a roll! The best win for India U-21 since I joined the game. Lavanya's performance today reminded me of Chandramouli, he was just top notch today, it almost looked like the ball was sticking to his hands. This time, they had actually come well prepared and were over us throughout, the stats clearly reflect that in the play in half and the number of shots taken. But that fumble from Ulland cost them, Sundaramoorthy doing the honors for us. Ulland was pretty much their worst player throughout. 2 of their changes cost them the game I think, Ulland was not part of their squad that defeated us and the goalscorer Grollund came as a sub in this game. And even though their midfield of Liland, Ulvin and Kjeldsberg was really strong, their striker Sorby wasn't impressive and the other one Trengereid showed a lot of potential but for some reason was placed behind Sorby. So they made quite a few player selection and positional blunders even though this time they were very strong tactically. Loved the way Gambhir played, he was quick to release the ball on most occasions and Murugappa who got a game after a long time too did his job. Our defenders fumbled quite a lot but because of them being so close together, there was always someone to get the ball and clear it. Suksma wasn't too bad in his new position as well, nice innovative thinking there. I'm sure the Norway coach will be very frustrated with the way the game went ;)
Wow, we also will go to 3rd place in the group with this win!

That's some crazy shit!!!
Pretty awesome win. Seriously WOW!!

Let's go for 2nd place :)
It was an amazing match. When we scored the leading goal I thought yes, then now comes the usual order, the match engine is about to bring the Norwegian equalizer. And yes, a pointless mistake brought a penalty to Norway. But let’s see a miracle: the Norwegian striker shot the ball next to the goal.
When that happened, I began to believe pretty slowly that our little team could be good for a draw today. Even then, I did not dare to think of victory. But the fact that we finally managed to achieve this incredible victory now means to me that after the bad luck of the previous match against the Norwegians, fate now stood by us. It was so good today, it is a pleasure to work for this national team.
And you see, as I wrote before the match, Rochan’s absence was a very difficult hurdle today. And Suksma’s defensive midfielder role proved to be a good decision.
Anyway, after each match, it reminds me who will be 22 years old next season, they will no longer be able to play on this team. And I always think about who the deputies will be. But thanks to you, there are and will be new players to replace the current 21-year-olds. As I can, I do the trainings too for strikers.
It’s good to be here with you in the game and achieve success with this little national team. Yes, we will be in 3rd place, it will be nice to see the table tomorrow :)

Most of the goal shots in our team are from Suksma. Well, it was a deep surprise that he had 23 shots. I thought our whole team had not shoot 23 times in total :)

I've compiled a list of potential players for next season. I've ordered them by age so that it will be easier to segregate them. All are not for next season per se but can be kept on the radar.
I think in the next friendly (after the game against Greece) we can test out a few of our youngsters as well, it's ok if we lose. Maybe we can ask the opposition team as well to stage in U20 players.
My recommendations for next friendly:
GK: Lavanya
Defenders: Mehul, Biswas, Saji, Chiba, Munusamy, Makarand
Mids: Subbarayan, Najeeb, Surnilla, Saini, Satwant
Fwds: Shilpa, Manohari, Velusamy
I've purposely given a few additional players so that we can sub them. What do you think?

And I know quite a few players among this list might not even make the cut for NT but this is just a list of players to look out for. I'm sure you might have compiled a list that could be a bit different so feel free to refer that as well.
Thank you for compiling this list. There are two names unknown to me: Neel and Sagar, what do you know about them?
Of the others, Lavanya is currently our only goalkeeper to train. Unfortunately, he doesn’t play full matches at his club, only one half at a time, sometimes less. This is a very bad condition so as he will reach his maximum skill much more slowly, he will probably only be a divine goalkeeper at the age of 22. This is not good for U21, but will be useful for NT later on with this slow development as well.
Makarand: he SHOULD be one of the 2 position players he can use (DEF or ATT), but unfortunately he doesn’t play at all in his club at all. Even though I have repeatedly asked the owner to sell the player (or coach him), there will be no change and so the player will lose to U21.
Ragunathan is in my club, he gets full matches and training every week, but unfortunately I have to say he’s not talented enough, he’s just slowly evolving. He has a big backlog in technique and scoring skill, I don’t think he can be the U21 battle of the future.
Unfortunately, the situation with Manohari is similar, he is also developing slowly, but his case is different because he will have to play in U21 soon, because next season after Shilpa he is the 2nd best striker, possibly Najeeb. still competing in striker positions.
(I think Velusamy striker skill is not good enough for play in U21 because he has only good skill regarding last informations.)
Thanks again for the list.

Thank you for compiling this list. There are two names unknown to me: Neel and Sagar, what do you know about them?
Jaswinder Neel is from a club that hasn't yet turned bot, once the club turns bot we can ask the mods to place him on TL. Peter Sagar is from Lagends FC.
Finally, it's your call, I just compiled the list. By the way, you know which website can be used for easily compiling this, right? It hardly takes any time if you add the appropriate filters.

I monitor the transfers every day to see if there is an Indian player, I write down the skills. In the case of the 2 players unknown to me: I had to see Sagar as well, but (and this is likely based on the data) he didn’t have any skills that could benefit U21. And Neel ... well yeah, you can try what you're writing, ask for a TL, we'll see. Thanks for your help.
Overall, it is good for the next season, for the seasons as well, the opportunity to put together a U21 that performs as well as it does now. I see the biggest problem - I have written before - is that there is no one who can help our goalkeepers, Lavanya and soon
your Meyappan (possibly others) goalkeepers from your youth school would be perfectly trained by someone. As we saw yesterday, that is the basic maybe the basis of everything is to have a super goalkeeper.

You don't have to do that. I mean you could do that but there's another way through which you can even check skills of players during transfer that you might have missed while noting down. Follow these steps:
1) Go to this website
2) Click on Transfer Search
3) Login with your Sokker credentials
4) Change the filter for nationality to India and click on Search.
5) After results show, click on transfer date to sort by transfer date.
There's also a separate tab for 'NT-Scouting'.
1) Click on NT Scouting tab
2) Change country name to India and set age (min) and age (max) accordingly to get a list of all players in various clubs in that age group.

Meyappan turned magical this week but I don't think he would come out as magical. He'll most probably be brilliant, we just want him to be the highest skill as possible in keeping as we can manage pace.

Yeah, these two will definitely be in the scheme of things. We have a lot of defending options to choose from honestly, so maybe we can consider them as mids. Yashodhan can raise his passing and conversely Subbarayan can raise his playmaking.
Another major problem is low stamina. If I may I would like to ask 2 weeks of stamina training at the end of the season. What do you think is it possible in your clubs?
In fact, Yashodhan would already be very close to playing in U21. You would need 2 more levels of defense (a very good level would be enough) and it would be important to have as high a stamina as possible. I can imagine Yashodan already next season in Rochan’s position as a defensive midfielder. Maybe you can still move through 2 defense levels this season, then (if possible) 2 stamina levels, and then next season you can go for pace training.
Subbarayan, on the other hand, I think is still a long way from playing in U21. He lags far behind in pace skill. We’ll see how much he can improve over the next season. But I think there will be even better newcomers from your youth schools in the coming weeks.

I will train them both as Attila suggested, defending till the end of season, then stamina and pace.
Subbarayan needs pace for sure before anything else.
I don't mind selling Yashodhan to someone training passing next season.
