He is too old for my liking but thanks for letting us know. Since most of the real users are in the National Football League, you can post your players skills directly in the National Football League thread, in this case the NFL Season 51 thread. You don't need to create a new thread for every player.
Also, Buy good older players when you want to win leagues and cups. Otherwise, it's better to train young players initially so that you'll earn more money when you sell them after a few weeks.
Looking forward to seeing you in NFL in the next season :)

I see that you've opened a junior school. Try to have a coach for junior school with skill level atleast as formidable for now. You can upgrade as you earn more money but your aim should be to have a junior school coach with magical level in the future.
Also, for now, have a head coach which is unearthly in the skill you are training players in. For example, if you are training pace, have a head coach who is unearthly in pace. If you are training both pace and defence, he should be unearthly in both pace and defence. This ensures that your players receive the best training for that particular skill. Again, your eventual goal is to have head coach with avg skill level as magical.
And keep 2-3 assistants who are atleast very good in the overall skill level. The individual skills don't matter for assistants.
Just as a reference, I currently have a magical head coach and magical junior coach. I also have 2 brilliant assistants and 1 incredible assistant. In the future, I want to upgrade my assistants to magical if possible. I'm not sure whether it'll be worth it because of the high salaries.
Additionally, be patient. If you try upgrade coaches very quickly or buy new players who are very good and have high salaries, then it'll be difficult for you to balance your finance. So now, it's better if you buy young players and train them in a certain skill level and then sell them off in a season or so. Young players also tend to train and improve quicker.
And download an external tool like Sokker Viewer to track the training of your players as well as the progress of your junior players.
