Wondering what to do with your new team? Here are 11 important things to remember to start a succesful franchise!
1. Click on the cone, and set your training regime to “Stamina”. It’ll give your team a nice boost, and give you a couple of weeks to decide what to train.
2. Click on the player icon and get to know your squad – and be willing to kill a few players. You will have a few naff players to start. Any player with no skills better than average is extremely likely to be naff. Any player with solid or very good skills is a dude!
3. Look through your squad and decide what to train. Trainable players are aged 16 to 23. Under 20 is best. A good start is to pick the skill that you have the most young players playing at. At the moment all skills seem worth training. Especially Defending, Pace, Technique, Striker, Keeper.
4. You need a Head Coach. Click on the cone and then “Coach Recruitment”. BE CAREFUL HERE. Coach recruitment is partially based on luck and can suck away a lot of cash… You want a Head Coach who has is a strong skill (at least incredible) at JUST THE SKILL YOU WANT TO TRAIN, and as weak as possible at the rest. You should be able to get one for a weekly wage of less that £5000. The cheaper the better. As a suggestion, choose Incredible for the statistic you want, and unsatisfactory for the others. You will then get given a coach. If you like him accept him. If not decline him. IF YOU DO NOT DECLINE COACHES, THEY REMAIN ON YOUR WAGES….
5. You also need to hire a YOUTH COACH and ASSISTANT COACH. Here, you just need to look at the average ranking. To start with a coach with an average of adequate to solid will be fine. One way of getting this is to mainly choose “good” on the coach selection skill. Again, look for as low wages as possible. Less than £2000….
6. You need to set up your youth team spaces. Click on the telephone and then “Juniors”. You get between 1 and 6 youths a week, but only if your school is big enough to cope. If you have 5 youths, but only 6 spaces, then you will only be able to get a maximum of 1 new youth. Spaces cost £600 per week, FULL OR EMPTY, so be careful here. Start with 6 spaces and increase it as you need to. Sack players at weak or below.
7. You need to decide on your first team. Click on the Match icon (a football pitch) and go to the next match where you need to set “Match Orders”. You have a lot of room to experiment here. Basically choose a keeper with best keeper skill, defenders with defender, but also pace, technique, passing are useful, midfielders tend to be all rounders, and strikers….yes you’ve guessed it! You also can get to set and edit tactics here – via the football pitch. This is not hattrick, so don’t automatically choose 3-5-2 !!. (For more detailed tactic editing, click on the cone, then the word “Tactics”.
8. Book a friendly (if not in the cup!). Click on the phone and then select friendlies. You can advertise, or search around other players and ask them to join. Try asking on the conference too. This is a bit of a pain in the ass on sokker. Best way is to join a friendly league, which can pre-book up to about 10 games ahead (depending on time of the season).
9. DO NOT delve into the transfer market yet. Money, especially in the early days in very tight in sokker. Using the transfer market is a sure fire way to go bust!
10. Keep visiting the forums – there are many useful hints and tips there.
11. Don't upgrade your stadium too early. You ideally need at least 300 fans before you should even consider upgrading.
Also important is the recruitment of coaches.
There are 2 ways to recruit a coach:
1)
>Go to the Training page.
>Use the Coach recruitment to select the skills for your coach.
>Set the skill you wish to train in as high as possible, set the other skills to really low. This will save on wage cost.
>Randomly generate the coach. This can be a big lottery and many teams have blown huge amounts of cash trying to find the perfect coach.
Alternatively
2)
>Enter the Transfers page.
>Go to the Trainers transfer page by clicking Trainers in the top right corner of the page.
>Narrow down the search parameters. find a coach with a really high skill in what you are training (unearthly in preferable), and low in other skills so that wages are kept low.
>Bid on the coach in an auction. Take note of the time the bidding ends. Bidding always last 2 days in total.
If you are outbid, unlike with player bids, you have to go back to the transfer page to find your coach again (strangely outbid coaches are not shown in the office).
Option two would be preferable and could save a lot of money, if you are looking for a specific type of coach.

Thanks. I dint know the option 2 of hiring a coach.
yeah neither did i.
is there any way to prevent injuries?coz rite now i'm in the cup final with 3 injured players.
i have a total of 16 players so now i just have 13 fit players.
Also about upgrading the arena...i currently have 631 fans and want to expand.i have 2000 benches on one side along the length of the pitch and 500 terraces behind one goal, the rest is 100 standing capacity everywhere.how much do i increase the capacity by and in what section?

I'd say go 2000 seats along the empty line (opposite the benches)

GK - Main: Goalkeeping Secondaries: pace, passing, stamina
DEF - Main: Defending | Secondaries: technique, playmaking, stamina, pace | Useful but not 100% neccessary: Passing, striker
MID - Main: Passing AND playmaking | Secondaries: Stamina, technique, pace, defending | Useful but not 100% neccessary: Striker
ATT - Main: Striker | Secondaries: Pace, technique, stamina, playmaking | Useful but not 100% neccessary: Defending
How to set a tactic:
Right, first off here is how you get to your tactics page:
On the right you will see a bunch of buttons lined up vertically (in a column)
Click the one in the middle, that looks like a cone.
This takes you to the training session page where your coaches are listed.
At the top right (inside the header) of the page there is a link that says tactics.
Now you should be at the tactics editor.
There are a number of default tactics:
Normal 352 343 424 433
442 451 523 532 541
Attack Defend Sweep
You are allowed to create 5 additional ones for yourself.
To do this, choose the default tactic you want to base your new one on, choose the name of this new tactic and then click create.
Your new tactic will appear below the default tactics, and to the left of the green sokker pitch.
If you don't edit it it will be the same as the default tactic you based it on....so time to edit it.
EDITING your tactic.
On the green sokker pitch you should see a white ball and 10 icons representing your outfield players.
There are 35 positions for the ball to be in. For each position you can set where each of your players are positioned.
Every time you move the white ball the player positions are saved, but when you are finished setting all 35 positions click save on the bottom right of the pitch else the tactic changes will not be saved for next time.
When setting players positions try to make sure players don't have to move too far from one adjacent ball position to another otherwise they will get tired, and generally not do what you want them to in a game.
Right, you should now have your tactic set the way you want.
To use your new tactics in a match click on the match icon (4th button down in the column of buttons to your right)
This takes you to your matches page.
League games are on your left, friendlies and cup games are on your right.
To set match orders for a match that is yet to be played click on "match orders" underneath that match.
This takes you to the match setup page.
You can see which formation is selected on the left at the bottom of the green pitch.
You can also see which players you have selected for the various positions.
11 first team players.
1 is always the keeper, the others can be changed.
You can see which subs have been selected, which players have been chosen to take your set pieces, and any conditional orders which have been set.
To change the player positions go to "squad", the middle link in the header at the top.
Now you can place individual players in specific positions, including subs.
Once you are happy with your players and positioning press save and that lineup should now be saved.
Thats about it.
The orders link lets you choose the free kick and penalty taker and also lets you set conditional orders (a little complicated, something to do when you have figured out the basics)
To double check your orders have been saved, navigate away from the game setup page, and go back in.
Check your squad, and also which tactics have been chosen.
